If you crit path the story, it's not a super long game. You might even want to avoid doing too much side stuff, since SR4 is undoubtedly more of the same and you don't wanna get sick of it.
@Krummith - There is something strangely addicting about the Sims. I get all invested in leveling up their skills (charisma, athleticism, logic, etc), finding the perfect mate for them, getting them married, having babies and awesome careers and then eventually taking over the next generation. Then sometimes I get sad and wonder why I don't do some of these awesome things in real life instead..... e_e......but it's really great.

Well then. According to a couple of email notifications I just received, I appear to have been the target of more random giftifications.
First, @DyasAlure apparently went on a quest to find something pink that I don't own. Of course, he couldn't... because if it involves pink, I own it. Silly mortal. But he did find Ziro and gifted that to me. I didn't know what that is, so I did a bit of checking.
In Ziro, I get to play as a Snowman Earth Guardian fighting to defeat global warming and cool down the earth. How the fuck have I never heard of this before now? That... that is amazing!
Secondly, @Dalantia seems to have read "I'm going to buy Gone Home when I get home" as "Someone buy me Gone Home so I have it when I get home" and now I have Gone Home, but I'm not home, but I want to go home so I can play Gone Home. Home run! Too classy! Too classy by far!

you guys getting earlier release dates than here doesn't usually bother me as I never preorder games but I had to break the rule for SR4, I hope my Nuuvem key comes through soon then I can pretend I'm on holiday to unlock it

Really? run build up shine spark. open door. Spark through. Stop on ground, jump up two platforms, spark through wall... 4:21, oh wait.. now shine spark, stop, ball, stand up, bomb, but you have to time it perfectly to get to other side for 5 missiles..
I won't discuss how long it took me to get the other two missiles on the shine spark jump down, open door, go left, spark up, random crazy maze of lets drop you down, oh wait you have to shoot missiles at this block but it is in a ball sized tube.

I'll admit it, my husband gets all his electronics as second hand cast offs when I upgrade. He always protests he doesn't WANT whatever gadget I'm getting, then he plays with it and wants one. So when the new version comes out he gets my old one and I get a new toy. His first DS was my old pink one that I didn't like anymore and decided to get the neato blue/black one. He's playing a game on my old laptop right now actually (MoO I think).

I've never played one, and other than seeing them used as inventive murder simulators don't know much about them.
