I really like the idea of Tropico, so I tried the Tropico 4 demo a while back, and while it seems like a cool game, it's too complicated for me. Too much stuff to manage. It's the kind of thing I would have adored as a kid, but I don't want this kind of investment right now. Are all of the games in the series just as intricate?
So there I was watching Transformers and going to buy the Saints Row 4 Season Pass and @Wooden Spoon has a misfire of his gift cannon and got me with it before I could buy it. I will revengerize you later when I have more money.

Ok, so, I'm just now really getting into the meat of it. If I had to hazard a guess I'm maybe halfway? No clue really.
Think of it this way. A) When you play a game like Bioshock, or Deus Ex, are you the kind of person who at times ignores the actual gameplay and goes through every single little detail in the environment you're in to pick apart the world? And do you begin to salivate when you see a note you can read or an audiolog?
Did you grow up in the 90s?
If you answered yes to A, then yes, this game is worth their asking price. If you answered yes to both A and B, you must obtain this game at once.
Edit: Also, if you have a good pair of headphones, MAKE SURE you use them for this. The sound design is incredible.

This game made my wishlist but you're making me not as sure. I sometimes don't find all the story because I'm too busy making mens go splat and I grew up in the 80's. I've never even seen an episode of My So Called Life, I was more a Clarissa Explains it All girl (although I adore Daria). Now, if there was a game that called Ready Player One to mind I'd be all kinds of all over that.

I haven't seen this. Although I'm a relatively newer person. But most of my chat conversations have been...mostly not game related? I got some cool music recommendations, current events, bitched about the dickpains of moving/not being employed, etc.

The idea behind PAGT chat is basically to keep it light and casual. I don't like dragging PAGT business in to this thread and I want people to feel welcome in the chat. That said when people start messaging people about topics making them uncomfortable that's a sign something needs to be done.

G&T goes off topic all the time, but a LOT of people don't want to hear 45 minutes about how politics are ruining america, obama is the worst things, or who/what type of people/beings you find sexually attractive, and ascii pictures of dicks. People come to G&T chat to discuss video game related things, but if you come in and are saying "wow i had a bad day, work sucked" and other simple stuff? Thats all fine. Whats NOT fine is derailing the whole chat into something completely unrelated for hours at a time. If you wouldn't discuss it on a semi-casual first date, don't bring it into chat. The PA general chat has no such restrictions. No one uses it. Can you guess why?

1.) The Dosan DLC for Mark of the Ninja is great, but (cheap as it is) I'd wait for a sale unless you see yourself really into reading the commentary. I am, and the new content is good, but the level is fairly short, and while the new powers are neat after two full plays I can't see myself playing through the entire game with them.
2.) I am currently installing The Bureau. I'll be out of town when it releases. If one of you can convince Steam to give me game time now since I'll be on a work trip most of next week that would be great.

Isn't the game out on the 23rd in Brazil? I don't think too many retailers are all that fast about getting keys that early.
I had put Papers Please in my wish list but while looking up Scott Manley's new Kerbal video I noticed he had played it. His voice over was just the thing to make me buy it now.
The game is fun, and seeing the story unfold is entertaining, it also has a very forgiving save system where you can go back to any past day, so if you screw up badly you can try again.
I think that the internet has been for years on the path to creating what is essentially an electronic Necronomicon: A collection of blasphemous unrealities so perverse that to even glimpse at its contents, if but for a moment, is to irrevocably forfeit a portion of your sanity.

I wanted to support Luchaire in her quest of pinkfication as I found Bleed to be a really fun game. Think of cross between Gunstar Heroes/Contra game (platform-shooter with 2 players option) and a 2D Max Payne (impossible jumps in bullet-time!). Everyone should bleed (and thank The Newell that rats aren't pink).
