If anything, I think we should be surprised that there isn't more.
And something about the aliens makes me want to make a Duke Nukem 3D TC or something. Complete with pig cops and weapons. I think the rest of the game fits the tone perfectly; except there are no nudie theaters. Yet...
Imported my old female boss and grabbed her a black bubble goose jacket from the first store with black combat boots, black gloves, gray wool pants; cream Jacket zipper and boot laces. I feel that this is a good hasty outfit for immediate action.
Grabbed a few cars: a lightly modded Justice, black, modest wheels as a presentable starting vehicle and a hammerhead, Estrada bike, and that car that looks kind of like the 4 door Porsche.
Honestly, I think I am a little ambivalent on the super powers Crackdown thing so far. It takes everything so far from the gangster-clothes-cars premise that I think I should have approached this as more of a superhero game than the conclusion of the series started way back in SR1.

I think the opening narration did a good job of explaining the shifts in tone bewteen the first two games, SRTT, and SR4. I kind of view SR4 gang and crime aspects mixing with powers as Shadowrun-esque but with strippers and ninja instead of elves and orcs.

Elves and Orcs don't get introduced until Saints Row 6 atleast. The magic system is going to be awesome.

See, for me, this is a HUUUUUGE selling point for me. Crackdown 2 was the main reason I bought a 360 in the first place (and I regret nothing!), and SR4 feels like a heavenly mashup of Saints Row the Third meets Crackdown 2 (complete with orb hunting).
EDIT - plus, Crackdown 2 never let me play a woman wearing a black deep-V evening dress and stripper heels.

Oh my God, the 'Merica gun is the greatest thing ever invented by humans.
The first two levels are awesome, actually, the whole game is awesome. I'm having a hard time keeping up with all the awesome stuff.
Also, SERIOUS early spoilers for when you leave the simulation the first time. You know what it is.
THEY BLEW IT UP. THE MANIACS.
Not too sad though, the intro narration has me convinced that the Boss leads the remnants of humanity into a new golden age as the God Emperor of mankind.

You guys are obviously talking about some huge twist in those boxes..
It's all an elaborate social experiment, right? Dexter strapped you in there, forcing you to relive the memories of your ancestors in the Rowimus, etc.

(I'm kidding, don't answer any of that.)
Oh trust me, you'll know it when you see it.
So how as the game been running on your PCs? Idolninja's reviews about performance on his setup makes me feel okay but I'd like to hear what others are experiencing on their setups.

Oh my god (first entering the simulation mission)
There needs to be entire Tumblrs dedicated to screenshots of different Bosses eating pancakes
The final segment of escaping from Zin's Ship, turn your settings down as far as they'll go. If you have performance problems, it -will- slow you down and make it impossible to finish.
Hey. At least it's not Steve Blum, who is in even more things, and has one voice.
blum actually has a very extensive range if you look at his past roles, it's just that he's been typecast to where people only generally hire him if they want him to do the spike voice

Runs just as well as SR3, and my PC is fairly old. I haven't updated since that game released.
Goddammit. My local shop is an independent game shop, Pastime Legends. Apparently their distributor fucked them over, and they won't be getting the game for a few days (a week at most). So I can't get my pre-order yet, and I'm stuck with the Redbox rental which means I don't have my pre-order stuff and I can't play co-op.
This also happened with Mass Effect 3. I should probably start calling ahead before I try to go down there.

I think there's just the glide, but I'm hoping that gets modded.
Steam Support is the worst. Seriously, the worst
You still can call in a plane or helicopter delivery so technically you can fly on top of gliding.
At this point though I have enough upgrades in super jump that I can glide across entire districts by jumping from the ground level.

Only because I'm still working on a couple of big mods and didn't get them finished in time for launch; mission replay and sandbox+ for SRIV.

edit: fixed the link and spoiler'd it for the frontscreen.
Kinda spoils one of the love interests I guess, but otherwise I don't think it spoils anything other than some footage we haven't seen before.

He's also,
That just means he never made it to the sewer levels and the parts of the game people disliked.
