Command and conquer 3 crashing on Vista

Hi, I dont know if anyone can help me here since its probably a specialised question, but I just bought c&c 3( one of the main reasons for buying my expensive pc) and get into game for aboput 3 minutes then at some point during a video uplink it will freeze and the pc will register a 'crash dump' I get a blue screen and have to reboot the pc. Is this due to Vista or a game problem? Its incredibly annoying.
