That was satisfying as hell. PvZ, I scout his 6 pool, I'm already FFE'ing, so I immediately block off my ramp with two gates and get the cannon down. Soon as he sees the cannon he quits.
On the 21th I made a thread on r/starcraft suggesting that someone should take advantage of a web browser mod for Minecraft, and host a Barcraft inside the game. The original post. Thanks to many dedicated people, we managed to build an arena for this virtual event. A special thanks to iMarineTV who is running the server himself. Here are some pictures so you get an idea of what we're doing: Picture #1 Picture #2 Picture #3 Picture #4
Below are 6 steps on how to properly connect to the server with all the mods working. We hope to see you at our virtual Barcraft!
Setup
Note, Do not skip any steps, it may screw things up if you do. Also, you must be using windows to use the minecraft mods, they will not work on Mac, or Linux
1. Install Flash
Download from here: Flash. Select Flash Player 11 for other browsers
2. Install Java
Download using this link: Java. This will install the 32 bit version of java. 64 bit java is not compatible.
3. Install MineCraft
We will be using the most recent version of MineCraft (1.6.2), which can be downloaded here: Minecraft. If you already have minecraft, It cannot have any mods, or resourse packs.
4. Install MineCraft Forge
Forge is required for this to work. It can be found here: Forge Mod Loader. Simply open the file and it will be installed automatically.
5. Install Minecraft Web Browser
Another automatic installation, which can be found here: Web Display Mod
All credit for making this possible goes to Buildlight for developing the Web Display mod for Minecraft. Link to his own thread can be found here: BuildLight thread
6. Start Minecraft
When opening the launcher, you should be prompted to login. After entering your info, at the bottom left, you will see an ability to select a profile. For the profile, select Forge. It may require you to put in your info again, that is normal. Then launch the game normally. If everything has been set up correctly, you should see the regular minecraft screen, and at the bottom left you'll see "4 mods loaded, 4 mods active". Then, click on multiplayer, click direct connect, and put in the IP address, which is XXXXX. You should now be connected to server.
To avoid too many random people joining the server while we're still working on it, I will release the IP address to the server 3 hours before the actual show starts, right here in this post. These are the times at which the IP will be released:
I am planning to run a kickstarter, hopefully launching sometime next week to support a redesign of GameHeart to make it function with the recent editor changes, as well as become lighter weight and easier to use for tournaments. I have a couple of new features planned as well but those will be stretch goals.
The problem is that I don't know what to offer people in return for their contributions. Because GameHeart is really only directly used by the tournaments themselves, I am not sure what I can give people. Honestly the only thing I can think of is just to list their names on the GameHeart website as contributors. If you can come up with any ideas I would be very appreciative. The rules about what we can offer people are quite strict though, you can find them here.
Thanks for any help guys, I am really stumped.
Here is a link to the 'script' I am writing for the video I will record to promote GameHeart.

wow another cannon rush. weird night.
I held them both but the first guy hid 2 bases and went mass void ray and it just didn't occur to me to look. I got overconfident. this guy not so much.
another dude FELT like he was being aggressive (and I scouted extra stalkers and later a ... building for blink and charge) but he was actually taking the two golds on neo planet s. again not something I should lose to but I just didn't even think to check and spent too long not knowing whether he had his nat (I had an engi bay there so I assumed when he killed that he took it. oops.)

can you offer things like custom 'team images'? the picture they can show by the base. it'd be cool for me to get whatever I wanted but I'm not sure that's possible.
I have thought about that but there are a couple of problems. First, I already offer to add any team or league logo for free to GameHeart. So someone could just email me an say they want this team logo added and I will do it. I don't have a great way of verifying if teams are real teams or just one guy who wants me to add his logo.
Second, it really isn't of any value to you unless you are expecting your games to be broadcast in a tournament or showmatch that is using GameHeart. I mean, even if you are playing a custom game with your friend on a GameHeart map, you won't even see the logo unless you watch the replay or are just spectating your buddies playing.

jeadong vs rain is live
edit
wake up everybody!
JD takes game one from Rain. that's right! jvp against the best protoss and he won! really nice game.
welmu beats MC game one (I didn't watch)... artosis said in his preview that zergs might have a good shot here because most players wouldn't be preparing for them.
he also said welmu has great pvp
seems like his predictions are great so long as he doesn't go ahead and pick a winner :P

the hype video is amazing. polt had 100% win rate vs protoss. (they said that with no context so that's how I'm sharing it.)
oh what the fuck it's not tastosis. oh well.
mma was so favored.
STEAM!
that's an insane idea
edit - oh it is tastosis. and they had a kpop show before the games.
shocker: all protoss
Just remember to hit the detonator and ride the kick all the way back to the top.
