I think you need a solid mix of big guys in something like WWE for it to really work. And Big Show, Mark Henry and Kane are probably a couple years at most away from retirement, and someone probably has to fill their shoes. And like, the only big man to gain any traction lately is Ryback. They have a ton of talented mid sized guys, and if they pass on a couple current indie stars, they'll probably be fine for like, the next decade or so. They've got way fewer big guys at the moment, and most of them aren't even close to established, yet. And you can't look at Big E and Luke Harper and go "yeah, those two and Ryback, that's probably enough."
I am by no means saying that they shouldn't bring in more big men. But I really don't think that ignoring small men is a good thing.
And you forgot Erick Rowan, Brodus Clay, and Sweet T.
Yeah, I am, actually. It's hard to complain about a lack of big men on the roster when you can name 9 off the top of your head.
I don't think Tons of Funk are good enough to be on the level of Cesaro or Luke Harper or Kane and certainly not great big guys like Mike Awesome or Bam Bam Bigelow.
Erick Rowan is not quite ready for the roster either, he's definitely the weak link of the Wyatt Family.

But still, they are there, so it's hard to say that there's some shortage that needs to be addressed.
And Tensai is actually a pretty damn good worker, when he's not hamstrung by a shitty gimmick.
So, this week's NXT is pretty bleh. The commentary from Scott Dawson is evidence enough as to why this is his last show. Renee did well though, keeping things interesting and teaming up with Regal in making fun of Dawson.
That said the show's worth watching for the main event of Sami vs Bo alone.
I was also very lukewarm on
he way that Sami v Bo match ended. That turnbuckle hit didn't really look like anything. In fact, turnbuckle hits always make me go 'really?' as something people sell like that.
Also yes, the commentary from Scott Dawson was fucking terrible

I think part of what hurt the finish is that they didn't recognize it was a call-back to how Bo won the title.
Well...I say "they" but I feel like Regal was purposefully testing Renee and Dawson throughout the show by leaving threads hanging for them to pull. When he asked if there was anything more Adriane Neville could have done it sounded like he was setting up for them to point out how Corey Graves tagged out early but neither of them picked up on it. That said Renee is enthusiastic and charismatic and sounds a bit like Ellen Page. Dawson contributes nothing and I can see why they sacked him.
TNA no longer lists tapings dates for Dec. 5 or Dec. 19 on it schedule. The Dec. 5 date was scheduled for Chattanooga and the Dec. 19 date may have never been reported publicly but there was a location for the show. In addition, the Nov. 21 taping in Baltimore reportedly has no tickets for sale by PW Insider even though we had been told earlier today that the advance was terrible for the show. Their report said that people who called asking about tickets were told to try again next week, even though the event had not been canceled.
The Dec. 27 taping in Philaelphia is still on the schedule.

Conversations have been opened between TNA and Universal Studios regarding the promotion returning to the old Impact Zone in November to tape several days' worth of Impact episodes, PWInsider.com has learned.
There is no confirmation that the two sides have come to terms, but the belief is that the company is seeking to run several days' worth of tapings the week of 11/21 that would cover 4-6 weeks' worth of episodes.
The Impact Zone, located at Universal Studios Orlando's Soundstage 21, is currently being used as a Resident Evil haunted house for Universal's Halloween Horrors event through 11/2.

Oh yeah and apparently Bateman is going to be Dixie Carter's storyline nephew. Which might not be too bad honestly, at least it shows they want to push him right away.

Well at least he's not her real relative and getting a job just because of that, then keeping his job even after other, better wrestlers are gotten rid of or not kept. TNA would never do anything like that.
This should be a great wrestling weekend for me with Smackdown tonight, an Iron Man match at my local indy show tomorrow, and Chikara Three Fisted Tales on Neon Alley Sunday.

You know, I like Cesaro and everything, but I really think we need to nail down the definition of the word "huge".
Because I don't really think Cesaro fits that definition just yet.

He was about as huge as you get on the indies.

What an epic clusterfuck.
Being huge on the indies and being huge are not the same thing.
Yeah. In more positive news, 3.0 are now on a quest to find Archibald Peck.
We were discussing huge on the indies.
I hope this puts to rest the ridiculous rumors that Evans and Archibald Peck are the same person.

Still a damn great match I must say.
He works well as a douchey heel. But Vince is too senile to realize how bad of a face he is.
HERE. WE. GO.
And apparently it isn't a swerve since WWE is planning on having an Axel/Big E. feud for the IC title.
why would he have joined up with him?
Ah OK, I had it on mute during that part since I had a phone call.
