The upcoming DC Universe Animated Original Movie titles announced include Batman Versus Robin, based on the “The Court of Owls” story-arc from Batman, coming for Summer 2015. Then, Justice League: Gods and Monsters will see release come Mid/Late 2015, and will be an original story written and directed by Bruce Timm. These two titles will join the previously announced Justice League: Throne of Atlantis animated feature, slated for Winter/Spring 2014

Bruce Timm? Justice League? Fuck. Yes. I'm in.

For those of us who are impatient to see the Avengers 2 trailer, here's a run-down of the Avengers 2 footage they showed at SDCC.

I gotta say, I was a little letdown by the film announcements at Comic-con this year. Maybe the last few years have spoiled me but there's no surprises really. The Avengers footage sounds pretty cool but nothing new announced. Ant-Man apparently doesn't have a finished script yet. DC continues with the whole Frank Miller fetish they have going on and a reluctance to have bright colours in movies. Maybe I'm being a downer but it just feels kinda meh.

This is probably nothing, but someone directly told Yvonne Strahovski that she should play Captain Marvel, and asked if she knew anything about the character. She said "I know a little bit, but don't ask me any more about that."

I'm all for anything that let's me stare at Yvonne Strahovski. Especially something that would make her an awesome central character of a movie that will run for about 2 hours which means that she'll have quite a bit of screen time. Yup.

Does Marvel do NDAs for simply talking to actors for films in pre-production? It seems like she's been approached about it and knew more to the story than what she said about people making photoshops of her in the outfit.

Ooo...if we don't get an Age of Ultron trailer out of SDCC, we at least get a Mad Max trailer that has me sold. So far, that trailer is my favorite product of SDCC so far.

I have no doubt that if you audition for a big role in a Marvel movie that you're under NDA.

Yes but he was also one of the guys in charge of AoS last season which turned out pretty rad so it looks to be an okay situation

It managed ok against the NCIS juggernaut. We'll see how they fare in the 9 pm time slot. I'm glad Disney isn't going to cancel it at the first opportunity.

Loeb has been in charge of all Marvel television for years now. Getting Wacker on animation means Loeb's in charge of less stuff.

Premiered with 12 million, season finale with 5.something. Plus all of the Hulu streaming, which has been proven is a significant factor on genre shows.

It wasn't a hit but not in cancellation territory, for instance: Lucky 7 lasted 5 episodes, premiered with 4.43, second episode has 2.62.

Black Box premiered at 6.8, ended at 3.77


Resurrection, which was also renewed, premiered at 13.9 and ended with 8.43

AoS wasn't a smash hit but it was no Lucky 7
