Problems with Battlelog and Origin website

I'm sorry to have to ask here but as EA customer support is an absolute nightmare...
I can log in to the Origin desktop client with no problems whatsoever, but when I try to log in to Battlelog with my Origin details it tells me that either the password or email address is wrong. I've filled out the form to get my password reset, but for some reason those emails never show up (not in spam either). I also cannot log into the Origin web page, which tells me there is no account associated with the email address I've entered. I have checked, double checked and triple checked that all the details are correct. What ridiculously simplistic thing am I overlooking?
