I was more than a little disgusted when I learned that her awful family got a reality TV show literally because of how awful they are.
I suppose that's nothing new, but... ugh.
Maybe this is what you mean but what I'm disgusted by is that this show's entertainment value is based on how stupid the daughter is and she's clearly too young to understand that. So at some point she's going to realize all the attention she's getting is viewers laughing at her and her family's expense which I fear it won't end up well.

Yeah, that's a big part of it.
That bit on Toddlers and Tiaras seemed really exploitative already, but making a show about them is just too much.

I love that he emotes entirely by scowling
When he's happy with you it's just a very mild scowl
but then like, towards the end when he gets shot that thing just goes bonkers

And then I was surprised when I found that they put all of the kids' money in trust funds, and live off of her husband's contracting job. Their most extravagant purchase has been a 2005 car (civic? i forget). They're also well-known contributors to the community with regards to charity work
Now I've never watched Honey Boo Boo or seen anything related to that kid in any way except for when people are cruel to her in internet meme pictures
But it seems to me that the prime takeaway from the show is about how it's good to accept people no matter what they're like, and you can have dignity while still being really silly and never taking yourself too seriously?
Again, never seen it, but that sounds like an okay lesson to take away? A family that accepts each other for what they are unconditionally sounds pretty all right

The family is generally really good to each other, with the exception of the blatant favouritism of Honey Boo Boo by her mother, and the way the parents don't feed their kids healthy food, or encourage any kind of exercise.

Except that's not why people are watching. It's something to point and laugh at because they're overweight, poorly educated, lower class fools. It's exploitation in it's purest form as is most of what's on TLC and E! for that matter.
I feel like at some point (maybe after everyone grows tired of them) the daughter will realize not only does the viewing public not actually give a shit about her but that they've been laughing at her the whole time. That can't bode well for anyone's psyche.

Well that's kind of sad for a family that mostly sounds like it's got its shit together in the most fundamental way
I don't even know what interview this is from, all I know is that this dude has a face that was chiselled from a mountain, and a smile that is made of sunshine.
i desperately need to find the way to get my penis on or at least near this man
I know all pigs basically look the same, but I can't help but feel that's Wilbur from Charlotte's Web, which is extremely appropriate, given the circumstances

How can you come to assume this considering that you've never watched their show or anything related to it?

Relentless, naive optimism, I guess?
Well that and someone told me the show was about "A very goofy family that loves each other unconditionally"

Call me relentlessly cynical then but I find that unlikely after having read reviews and seen clips. If that were true it wouldn't be on TLC and I doubt anyone would watch.
Man, it's not up to me how people try to sell the show to me. I can't really help it if they were misrepresenting the show, but that doesn't mean they didn't tell it to me that way.

Nah it's that camouflage coating shit they put on guns, realtree. You can get it pretty much any pattern you can think of.
Robert Maillet has the best voice, too.

I wonder how toxic it is

WHY WOULD YOU NOT GIVE THAT VOICE ANY LINES IN YOUR MOVIE GUILLERMO DEL TOTORO?
