This is a variation of the RSPD wallpaper that Gabe posted.
I know this is nothing that someone with minor Photoshop skill could do, but i figured some people don't have photoshop, so whatever...

The grainy film lines are neat.

Thanks. I don't like really bright wallpapers(hard to see icons). So i figured a good excuse to tone it down was to to try and make it look like an old movie.

I personally think it's a little bit too muddy. Not enough contrast lessens the impact.

    Your third attempt worked :P

I like it, though the logo seems out of place. It's just too close to the edge, I think.

You must just like more obvious wallpapers than me. Less contrast makes it easier to see icons, but it's a personal preference.

Just move it in from the edge?

Yeah, more down and left. I guess that's a personal preference though.

I can see how thaat would be better. It kind of depends if you want the logo to be a design aspect or just giving credit...

If I was making it, I wouldn't include a logo at all, or move it somewhere out of sight (under the taskbar).

Welcome to the forums, by the way.

That could work, but i kind of like the look of the logo. Plus, that logo would end up a blurry smudge if i tried to hide it behind the taskbar.

Assuming you won't be making any changes to the background, I think the logo is fine where it is. Right now it's over a nice patch of black which makes it easy to read. If you move it, that's no longer true.

It looks nice, but I would prefer just a little more brightness coming from the bulbs and eyes on the Fruit Fuckers.

No offense Moe, but that seems like the brightest most obnoxious desktop setup imaginable. I just couldn't stand all that stuff on my desktop, lol.

Also you may want to blur out your GAIM contacts.

Oh god. When I was younger, me and my friends wanted to burn the Harry Potter books.

    Then I moved to Georgia.
