Yea, I moved my music to my other drive which broke my itunes [ I don't let itunes organise my music folder because I don't put all my music in there and I don't like how it organises it] so now I have to redo it all.
Not much difference, vaguely lighter, faster processor, sharper screen (!) and they have apparently improved the light distribution and accuracy of the touch screen.
(Fuckin' US only at the moment)
I just got a paperwhite a couple weeks ago dammit! I really miss the buttons because this touchscreen gets confused from time to time.

I just got a phone upgrade, yay shiny new things. I got an HTC One mini (which is not mini at all). So far I am impressed, it looks lovely and is fast and seems to work as a phone.
Few annoying things though. I can't figure out how to make the stupid Blink Screen or whatever it's called do what I want, so I just ignore it. And on my old phone I had different sounds for when I got a text or an e-mail, and on this one there seems to only be one "notification" sound, so that's annoying.
Biggest problem is the shiny aluminium back is quite slippery and I keep nearly dropping it. My Galaxy S2 lasted about 18 months before I shattered the screen, I will be impressed if this one makes it that far.
Still though overall I am really happy with it, considering I took about 15 minutes of thinking to choose it and had never actually seen one until I took mine out the box.

I really don't think it's worth an upgrade from the old paper white. But I want it cause I just have a wifi original touch. And while good. (Really good!) I kinda want a 3G one for my bag, and then one I can leave by the couch do sync will work nicely.
And their galaxy watch or whatever I don't really care about (sorry t4 I know you love computer watches)
Get on it!
The initial setup can be a pain in the ass for apps that don't support more recent authentication methods for google, or required your login (and thus, require an app-specific password generated for it) BUT I really do feel a lot safer.

I got Authy and couldn't figure out how to add any actual accounts to it. It just kept telling me about (what I think was) how I could use Authy to add security to my website or something.

@smof I wouldn't sweat too much about the phone breaking. Your Galaxy S2 was all plastic, the One is single-body aluminum and gorilla glass. My gf has been using hers without a case since it launched and it's survived without a scratch.
This girl is the same one who went through 3 iPhones.

You create an account with Authy, which gives you an Authy token you can use when using services that use Authy as a 2 factor provider, but to add other accounts, just swipe from left to right, the. Scroll down to '+ Authenticator Account'
Go to the website that offers 2 factor (right now Authy only supports TOTP, which Google, Dropbox, etc all use)
Most of them will mention being able to add your account to Google Authenticator via a QR code, or a crazy long random string
After the account has been added, most services will ask you for the random ~6 digit code that's generated to make sure the 2 factor setup worked. That's where I got stuck setting up one or two accounts because they don't always make that part obvious.

I am thinking about changing my phone upload tool.
I am currently using photo bucket.
What I would like.
My albums to be private and images only to work with a direct link. (I looked at using imgur and couldn't figure out how to make the settings the way I wanted)
When the file is uploaded, the image path to he automatically copied to my clipboard. (Photo bucket doesn't do this)

I had heard the next Android version would be called Key Lime Pie. Strange to hear that they went with a trademarked candy instead.
Apparently, it was going to be called Key Lime Pie. The deal with Nestle only got knocked together earlier this year as a bit of a 'why not' kind of thing.
HTC One has better hardware overall, Samsung Galaxy S4 has a few neat pieces of unique software but they take up about half the built-in memory. HTC One does not have a microSD card slot or removable battery.
My vote is for the One but go with the one that sounds better to you.

That's odd. Zedge doesn't work?
Don't know what this is.
Zedge is an app I use to download notifications and ringtones. It's free, and you can set default sounds through the app itself.

They kind of went with both. Yesterday, FCC filings for what is likely the next Nexus phone were found, and it references "kyelimepie" in some of its identification codes.

Thanks for the tips guys.
Have to say I am loving this phone the more I get used to it. It seems a lot more intuitive than the S2. I keep thinking "I wish I could do that" and then discover I can.
This site is super quick on Firefox. Chrome was literally chugging on here, but FF scrolls smoothly and really quickly.
Chrome was laggy on a lot of sites, but admittedly, this forum and other forums in general were the worst offenders.
I'm using a Nexus 4, so I don't think that was hardware related lag. I tried clearing out my cache and stuff, and reinstalling Chrome, but it's just generally unresponsive.
Tech thread, is PDFPen still the best app for annotating PDFs/filling out PDF forms on iOS? At work we're testing some equipment and need our guys in the field to be able to fill out a PDF form on their iPads (mostly yes/no checkboxes and then a notes section) and quickly email it back to us at the office.

Bugshot and Imgupr are the light.

Google Drive does this (via Auto Upload in G+), and I think Dropbox does as well.
Neither automatically copy the image URL to my knowledge, though.
Don't know what this is.
You should be able to head into the notification settings for each of those apps individually and change them to different sounds.
Apparently, it was going to be called Key Lime Pie. The deal with Nestle only got knocked together earlier this year as a bit of a 'why not' kind of thing.
Imgupr also gives you BBCoded image links with just like, two taps

Also can't get over how pretty it is.
I switched to Firefox and it's way snappier but I'm not a huge fan of the layout/interface.
it's laggy but I think it has more to do with this site than anything else

I don't phone post a lot (not that it should make much difference since the problem is reading)
