Oh yeah, I just remembered. When I upset the weapons merchant I got the option to use Street Etiquette to smooth things over even though I've only got Shadowrunner and Corporate right now.
I got it aswell and picked up no etiquette in character creation.

(my troll is about as charismatic as a brick)
My two favourite things in RPGs are dialogue solutions and healing spells. In Shadowrun, Charisma gets me both!
Just went and bought the GoG version and DLC. I still think it's a conspiracy that I purchased the game twice.

Updating now. 50% there, so I'll be sure to dive into it later. Sorry, Killing Moon.

Don't know about you all, but I'm playing this like my runner just left Seattle, and he knows for damn sure there's no such thing as a milk run.

Very cool, but I am not a fan of the main menu. Not pretty. The picture's fine. The color doesn't do much for me, but the giant block lettering... eugh.

Okay, me and Eiger are cool now.
She apologized, I accepted but sternly told her if she ever screwed with me again, she was out. She seemed to respect that a lot more than I thought she would.
I've been really tempted to pick up a sniper rifle after seeing the kind of damage Eiger can do with hers.
But I like healing spells, so I like denying healing spells to the enemy so I'm sticking with SMGs for now. An enemy healer can heal a sniper rifle shot all at once, but can only heal one of an SMG's multiple hits.

I got this waiting for me when I get home today. Going to spend the night running some shadows.
I'd had a hankerin' to get back into Shadowrun. Good timing on dropping the expansion.
I'm guessing that shooting people with bullets is still as effective as it was in the first campaign?
Quite! Though they did add some new things for other archetypes also. Adepts have passive chi casting bonuses now, as well as some new hand to hand weapons. Mages/shamans have a few new spells (and higher grade spells also).
Of course, if your heart is set on the path of the ranged street sam, there's plenty of new options there including sniper rifles, grenade launchers, and at least one weapon with a cyclical rate of fire.
Operative21 got this in one, but the dialogue in Dragonfall (and DMS) really deserves recognition. It's some of the most natural-sounding conversation I've read in a long time, like how people in this line of work might actually talk to each other. Dietrich is easily my favorite character so far, particularly for the following (non-spoilery) exchange:
"Wait, you can sing?"
"I was a frontman for a punk band. (beat) Fuck no, I can't sing."
Doing some of the side missions now. Pleasantly surprised with how variable the outcomes seem to be; quite a few different things to try on follow-up playthroughs.

Don't forget to do the side runs, ran into quite a fun one.
Fuckin Thorvald.
Should have brought my hard line honor the contracts Ork Rigger for this one. Luckily I managed to save the job at the last moment by passing a betrayal skill check of my own.
Something else I'd like to point out. More than anything in recent memory, first-time runs of these campaigns get me thinking as the character instead of trying to min-max every encounter. Case in point, during the opening mission you're given a minor choice of a larcenous nature; namely
whether to break open a weak display case and steal the vase inside. The PC notes that they know a fixer who could move the item in a hurry. I opted to ignore it, with the reasoning that 1) we were after something specific, 2) I was the new guy on this run, and 3) I didn't want to risk setting off an alarm.
It's not so much that the dialogue lets you display varying degrees of professionalism, though it certainly does that. Rather, it's that I thought in-character before I thought of it in a gameplay sense; that even a trivial decision still got me into the role, and did so early on. Granted, it probably means little in the long run besides some post-mission cash, but it's still a rare game that can get me to think about what the character would do rather than what I, the player, should do.
So far, Dragonfall has been a lot of fun. Can't wait to see how it all unfolds.

Did mages get a buff?
I heard shamans did. Dietrich's conjured elementals seem tougher than the ones I usually summon, he can't hit the broad side of a barn or put a dent in one with his spells or knives though.
It does seem that elementals are more useful this time around, though maybe it's because you get to play with a shaman more often even if the PC isn't one. I'll grab another mage for the next mission and see how they do.
Also, fuck yes auto-healing of the last injury after battle. Still subject to the "last-minute -1 injury overrides the -15 for healing purposes" shenanigans, but it's a big help all the same.
Dietrich is pretty useful. His AoE is good damage and good crowdcontrol. Heal and Haste is what I use him for mostly though.
Because Eiger with Haste is a major wreckingball of a troll. Especially once she gets her autoshotgun.
Overally my impressions of dragonfall so far is: Awesome.
Best personality is Deitrich, but Eiger has by far the best looks. They could have gone so wrong with Eiger (you know, pointless cleavage and shit) but they did it so right, because that's what a hypercompetent wreckingball should look like.
Almost all of the portraits from the character creator are pretty awesome too.

For those wanting more:
I am so glad that you are enjoying Dragonfall! I will pass the compliment onto the team. We would love make more campaigns for Shadowrun - but it does all come down to the "gold". There not cheap to make so the sales of Dragonfall will tell us if we can continue to make them.

I've noticed odd instances of Dietrich leaving cover completely and moving a few spaces closer when I attack an enemy with throwing knives.

Is that a bug?
Think he's just moving into range. Glory does it whenever she attacks with her claws, of course, and I've noticed Eiger doing it a few times with her sniper rifle.
And on a more personal note...
The MK VI mission.
That... that was one hell of a thing. Ended the only way it could have, really.
It also convinced me Dragonfall is definitely better than Dead Man's Switch.

Sorry, John.
Ordinarly I would do the predator handshake with Thorvald and delight in his mischief on one of my evil characters but this troll is abit of a straight edge.
Got caught with my pants down by my employer, had to put the fella down.
Giving you an actual party of characters really injected some life into this game. So far this is the game I was expecting when the kickstarter launched.
Noticed an AI bug during the False Flag mission: my decker PC hit the Matrix mid-fight, jacked out to avoid the alarms/reset health, then jacked back in. The alarm went off and black IC was summoned, but did not actually attack; remaining normal IC also stood stood stationary and didn't return fire. Meatspace NPCs didn't seem affected, so I'm not sure if this is mission-specific or something with the Matrix. I'll keep an eye out and see if it comes up anywhere else.
Blitz really got the short of the stick in the Tragic Backstory Department, didn't he?
I mean, yeah, his girlfriend disappearing and getting into debt kinda sucks for him, but at least he hasn't got Satan lurking in the few tattered remnants of his soul.

Guess that explains why they weren't available as starting gear.

I may or may not have done some testing as an ork by the name of Face-Puncher Esquire...
Total nitpick, I know.
Group hug!
Then they could have changed the tagline of the game to "you will believe a dog can shadowrun".
Been thinking about taking another stab at it after finishing Dragonfall.
