Beta Ray Bill costume confirmed (again) along with Dark Elves and Loki enemies in the new Asgard zone. Apparently they also showed some Nightcrawler at the Marvel NYCC panel today. There will be some kind of global in-game event to unlock the Asgard zone.
EDIT: Looks like Gambit coming for Asgard release as well.
My spiderman hit level 52 today , no unique luck after my 4 drops yesterday but I did find two cosmics and a bunch of artifacts. Let me know how the spiderman rework is , think I should hit 60 before it comes out.
Squirrel Girl is amusing so far but a bit fiddly for my tastes.
Though I got a green item in the raft that gives her "bonus damage for squirrels attacking target" power and it rendered Goblin into paste in perhaps the easiest first encounter with him I've had.
I found another webshooter unique for spiderman ! Hope I have this kind of luck when I hit 60 and im looking for the max level versions. Also I hate the official spiderman forums , that is all.

I'm the exact opposite of this. I've gotten close with Jeannie but my eye always wanders to other characters. I'm trying to at least focus on getting every character to 25 so I can at least load up on the synergies, however that is not going well.

Squirrel Girl is pretty fun. The best part about her is that she seems to be annoying so many people just by existing. The amount of guys in social chat bitching about her was amazing, anybody would think they hate fun.

Not that ive been lucky getting uniques but it seems to really be kill a metric fuck ton of stuff, ive run the 150% xp rarity and bonus 50 sif a 3x now and have gotten all of 1 cosmic from it. This again is just a very small sample size and doesnt prove that the potions dont work, RATHER it proves that unique and cosmic numbers are so very small that you really need the co-operation of the random number generator to give you a good number more so than any effects from potions.
I have yet to get a costume in the last 200 or so levels of my heroes, if i didnt hear people randomly saying they get one i would suspect they have been removed, the game used to be nice enough to give me 1 or so (+- .5) costumes per running a hero to lvl 50, however I have run Scarlet Witch, Emma, Jean, Hawkguy, Cable, Storm to 50 or higher without getting one, and Colossus (46) and Wolvie (44) are both getting close to being shut out as well.
Oddly enough I wasn't running any potions at all when I got my drops, and I've dropped money on a ton of potions previously and gotten nothing worthwhile from using them (except larger amounts of blues and greens). I actually wonder if rarity even affects drop quality, or if it is just frequency.
In any case, what farbkrieg is saying rings true with my own experience. In the cases I've had uniques drop, I was using characters capable of taking out large numbers of enemies fairly efficiently.

Yeah +50% to an absurdly small number still ends up being an absurdly small number.
well, I mean yeah. rarity+ is nice and all, but its only really worthwhile when you're AOE farming. If you're boss rushing it isn't really worth using them I'd wager. Not because it doesn't help, I'm sure it does, but you're basically just sort of wasting it.
I'd say full clear Hood runs with rarity pots would technically be the best bet, as long as you didn't waste time on any small clumps of trash mobs. I'd rather just stick to MM though, screens of chumps.
I found Legendary Quests, when they actually give you one you can complete, work fairly well. Though so far it seems to be do this level appropriate one ten times and this other one where the enemies are grey every tenth time or such. Bah.
Card packs are on sale right now, 2500 for 36 instead of 3000. I bit on the Mk2. I feel okay about the results considering I would have bought some EXP potions eventually anyway. Would have liked some more splinters but that is life. For those thinking about it here was my haul.
Spider-Man Noir costume, Gold Ultron pet, 2xUltimate, 3xRetcon, 3xUnbinding, 4x25 splinters, 20 odd various potions/bars.
Sadly, I like gambling in games. which is why I do random hero boxes and have been really tempted by the big card pack thing.
edit: Well, did a pack. 75 splinters, 2 retcon, 2 unbinding, cable ultimate, ultron gold, the iron man nightclub costume. (Yay, 3 ironman costumes now. Wtf.) and a ton of boosts. Even a nice 4 hour iridium boost box thing. I actually like the boosts, since I'll need them when SG comes out.

Edit- Finally got Spiderman to lvl 59 just need to grind out one more level then I will take a break from leveling and just focus on geraring up deadpool and spiderman. Parker was lucky man so many uniques and cosmics dropping for him. Maybe the deadpool synergy is better then listed?

Na, costumes aren't tradeable unfortunately. At this point I think I've got like 4-5 Iron Man costumes sitting in my bank, and no Iron Man to play. I bit the bullet on the pack because a friend of mine got it, ended up with the vision pet (which I almost forgot that I also got), both of the costumes, and 750 splinters. Luckiest SOB ever.

ebay, I've found a bunch of them for $15 that were for the full MH+Warframe+Neverwinter codes, and since I play at least two of those games that was a pretty good deal
