I like it, but then I'm a crazy person who put the Brigand rune on Gambit just because I thought it fit the character.
well other than for roleplaying purposes I guess you could use it to level up alts one after another and then switch it to a new alt. I guess? but you better not want that alt to actually level a legendary as well while levelling up.
whatever. some people will like it and use it and others will throw it away because stash space is totally not being shucked full of stuff lately as is.
Well, my Cap would appreciate this while I'm leveling him. If you have the cash, might not be a bad idea to pick up a few matrices so you can put this on whatever character you're leveling.
On one hand, I only own one costume and it's a special one (Lady Loki) so I'm pretty much guaranteed not to get a repeat.
On the other hand, I don't own that many heroes, so it seems likely I'll get a costume for someone I don't even own.
and on the ever popular 3rd hand I only want like a dozen of the over 100 costumes because god knows I dont want another generic iron man mark 2-4 costume.

Yes I totally agree with this and second the motion for a third hand. I look at most costumes for most heroes and find them either unappealing to my tastes, downright dreadful, or (especially in the case of Ironman) simple recolors that should almost not even be a separate costume.
I'm going to try that thing exactly once, because I already have the spare G from the last time.
then probably work towards getting the character the costume is for. Unless I hate the costume.
This seems like a fun way to go about things, and something I'm inclined towards as well. That is, if I can get over my previously-stated fear that I'm more likely to get something I hate than not.
I bought 3 boxes and got Wolverine's fang, Thing's Future Foundation, Cap's 1st Avenger. Didn't own any of them so not too bad. 2150g worth of costumes for 950 1350g (lern2maths).

Not to say there arent iron man costumes I would love to have, Mark I, Silver Centurian, Classic, Hulk Buster. I know my taste is awful but even counting those as 4 costumes I really only want 9 total.
Artist's impression of the Scarlet Witch players from the official forums:
Seriously though, Phoenix charge needed something doing about it. I just wish Gazillion knew how to fix things with something resembling elegance.
If I were the optimistic sort I'd say that Jean's review can't come fast enough, however I'm not optimistic and I dread to think what they'll do with her when the time finally comes.
I broke down and decided to try one of the mystery boxes last night, and got Wolverine's X-Force costume. Now, I like Wolverine, and that costume's pretty cool, but of course I hear up and down that poor Wolvie is in need of a review so I don't know that I'm going to spend money or splinters (whenever I get them) to put him on my roster just yet. Still, I'm not unhappy about the costume, so I'll store it away for while as I continue to plow through levels with Lady Loki, who is just a blast to play.
I think my next hero purchase is going to end up being Squirrel Girl; I keep seeing her around and she just seems cool. Plus, I'm finding that I like heroes with minions.
Wolverine is in a pretty poor place post dodge nerf (not bad, just that he's as dull as before with the added bonus of being much less of a monster), I would definitely caution against picking him up unless you find yourself rolling in splinters.
Personally I don't think SG is very fun to play but then I also haven't sunk very much time into working her out so YMMV on that one.
Everyone is different. Everyone is special.

I'm eyeing that Squirrel Girl GLX costume. It's cool and I have just enough G for it.

Wolverine is just fine right now, in terms of being able to clear content. He is boring though, total one trick pony.

Well, Wolverine has always been a one-trick pony. Has claws, regenerates. Or maybe that's two-trick. Anyways he's pretty simple, power-wise, but I guess there are other heroes whose powers aren't all that complicated that are still interesting to play? I haven't heard much about Hulk, for example, also a pretty one-trick hero (Hulk smash).

tip to all the goons and thugs and malcreants out there: don't shoot at the shield or the head. aim for his legs!
on another note: tried SG some more today and somebody might clear something up for me before I have to test it tomorrow... do Squirrels proc? Lemurias most of all but artifacts as well.

FUCKING FINALLY
It's an insignia- Groot's Insignia, to be specific.
The video is gone, what was it?
Her abilities suck but I sure like her aesthetic.
Depends on the costume.

Emma Frost White Queen and Cap's First Avenger.
Not bad.

I like it a lot, both because it looks good, and because it's not brown!
I might buy it once I get enough splinters for SG.
