I thought Legendaries leveled, so it was better to have one and then pass it around on characters? Or am I totally getting this wrong? I've never had one before.
I've gotten one pot of gold already, so that's pretty cool, plus those four leaf clovers seem to give vendors decent XP for leveling.
Except none of her moves are worth using so you have more points to do nothing with.
Here's hoping. I loved SG when she first came out. Her offense wasn't great but she was unkillable. Then they nerfed and 'fixed' everything she had and so she has terrible TTK and TTL and is generally terrible.
Also I have quite a few portal to the cow world that need to be used. We need to get some people from the SG together to run it. I'm assuming it's actually worth while to do so.

I'm not sure what to make of the Squirrel Girl changes, since I've never played her, but what I'm presuming is that if they are condensing 7 passives into 3, that should open up 4 slots for new active abilities? So if what she does isn't that interesting (I've read her abilities and I think they sound cool in theory), maybe it will become moreso soon.
Damn i was really hoping that the sg changes would make you feel more like a commander of an army of unstoppable squirrels (well a pet class at least), to further fall down the rabbit hole of why isnt this working im debating putting some pet blessings on her compound my mistake of purchasing and leveling a trident.

Finally opened my random hero boxes from a few weeks ago. hawkeye and Ghostrider. Not bad. Got 2 random costumes, a Emma Frost adn another Spider-man costume.
Still trying to slog to 60 on Cap. Once I hit 40 I just stopped getting XP like I use to. Level 43 now and ugh I just want that ultimate
Wow, that's a pretty great trade-up if I do say so. Lady Loki is an awesome costume and I love the voice. Plus Loki is fun as hell to play.
I finished the entire storyline (up through Asgard) with Lady Loki then did some Midtown Patrol which I had never tried before... fun for awhile but I guess it just goes on forever, with new stuff spawning. Seems like a good mode to play when I've got lots of Rare/Special Item Find, or just general grinding. I then played some X-Def which is kinda meh since it's just huge wads of enemies and bosses that eventually get to the point where they do so much damage you can't even fight them properly. The terminals are OK I guess if you want to fight a certain boss, but I don't really know if there's a special point to them. do certain bosses drop particular loot I'm going to want?
I think I got up to level 34 or something and then had to set Loki aside for a bit. Started playing through the story with Ms. Marvel, and am liking her more the more I play her. I love her mobility and durability and can't wait to get more abilities once I level her up.

Midtown is pretty much just there for leveling and mild loot, x-def is mostly for loot ballooning (at least, that's what I hear, never did it myself), and the red/green terminals are for cube shard collecting, which have varying uses at Clea, usually physically next to the terminals in the hubs.

X-Defense, at least from my perspective, is a better source for loot farming. I've seen more cosmic and unique items drop there than anyplace else. Just popped a few RIF/SIF potions and got three Storm uniques in one X-Def run, but that's pretty atypical. Also, they were three of the same unique, which took a bit of the wow factor away.
Terminals are for Legendary Quests and for trying to get boss-specific medallions and loot, as well as cube shards.
Also, if you haven't already, you can switch to Heroic mode and start the story missions all over again, only with tougher mobs and (theoretically) better loot.

I've only done one X-Def on Lady Loki after finishing the story, and I guess I can see what you mean about loot, because it was dropping everywhere and I think I even got a unique... we went to something like round 13 and several of us were having to run quickly to the stash to shove things in because there was so much stuff. I also started the story over on Heroic mode, but didn't get very far as of yet; it seems worthwhile to do because I've gotten some stat bonuses from defeating bosses in addition to whatever other loot drops, so that adds up.
So I'm not very familiar with Ms. Marvel's story other than the fact that she was basically the source of many of Rogue's powers, is there some issue with calling her Ms. Marvel vs Captain Marvel? Some people even just call her Carol (her given name), whereas they don't seem to do that for other heroes. I don't even hear 'Captain' mentioned for her anywhere. As to playstyle, I assume that since you say she's a late bloomer for you, that means you're doing ranged? Because as melee/avionics I'm tearing it up right from the beginning.
Carol Danvers was infused with alien (kree) DNA, which is where her powers originate from. She originally went by Miss Marvel in honor of the kree super hero Captain Marvel (Mar-Vell). Mar-Vell is dead now however, and Carol has recently taken on the mantle complete with a more respectable outfit.
@Toxic Pickle This is a list of which missions give you something for repeating on Heroic/Super Heroic.
Going into X-Defense it's a good idea for purples/blues to have an idea of what slots you're looking for. Is your Slot 1 your level? Then maybe don't worry so much about them but look for your slot 5 that is lagging levels behind. This is probably less of an issue your first time through without the bonus XP. I know now I'm flying through levels where gear being ten levels behind isn't that uncommon for me.
Man, love bonus weekends. Got Iron Man from 30 to 52, wasn't even playing that much. Got all but one of his uniques (the checkbook), got 4 or 5 of those Pots of Gold (My First Legendaries \o/ )... Lost a bunch of money crafting affixes though. Wish those were not random, or that you could add something to it to make it at least the stat you want, even if the values are still random.
Considering I've opened somewhere in the area of 40+ mark 1 fortune cards and have received exactly zero "elite" rewards, I'm unsure of why anyone would want to pay for the damn things. I'm also not a gambler though.

Got two of his slot 1 uniques, his unique helm and boots. Also got a Symbiote Infestation, which looks cool but I have no idea who to use it on...
So, has anybody found a use for the Holo Sim yet? I ran it and while I like the gameplay, the XP and loot is incredibly lacking.
It doesn't have to be wonderous, but it's certainly not as good as just running Midtown.
