this year's Halloween map will probably just be a "spooky" version of Standin
I mean, I already avoid the halloween maps besides harvest_event since the bosses are basically impossible to kill on any server that you can't convince everyone (and I do mean everyone, just one dude can fuck it up if they want to) to cooperate on killing it.
So if they want to make the halloween map a version of a map I already avoid, more power to em.
I remember the one time I was in on a monoculus kill the year he came out, 1 demo man from each team was sticky trapping the portal, both of whom already had the hat.

I did Marasmus I think, twice? Never killed him. All the bosses need their health dropped by at least 50%. Marasmus in particular is extremely tight, even with the whole server working together.
Basically the halloween bosses give me WoW raiding flashbacks, and I get fed up, quit, and start drinking.
An update to Team Fortress 2 has been released. The update will be applied automatically when you restart Team Fortress 2. The major changes include:
Strange misc-slot items that are tradable can now be listed on the Steam Community Market
Updated The Bearded Bombardier and The Bolted Bombardier so they can be equipped with glasses
Community request:
Added modelscale and SetModelScale input to Studiomodel so map authors can use them to scale models
So yeah, scaling models is something we've wanted since the game was launched. That is crazy to me that it's a thing now and I wish it would have came out a month or so ago so I could have played with it for B4 of TSL.

Can this be implemented for prophunt at all? So the player props are the same size as map props?

I haven't read up much on it, but the "word on the street" is that it can be used as an input to players, so this could open stuff up to say, "shrink rays" built into maps. I would imagine that would work with what you're talking about.
Yeah, I really really wish this would have came out sooner.

Jesus that opens up another whole world of level design.
Make a map that has a center area that works just as well when the players are scaled down. Little pathways that you couldn't access without being really small.
Like, say, you get shrank and suddenly you can go inside the tiny mouse holes that are on the side of the raised platform the KoTH control point is on (think TSL) and there is a place to fight inside of it, with it's own mini- control point.

Fuuuuuck, the ideas.
Saxton Hale maps with a Pyro that turns everyone into these.
So this is a dumb thing I've started making with the trainsawlaser audio files. It sounds kinda dumb at the moment, but it might sort itself out once I've finished chopping out chunks of the TF2 OST and built some keyboards with them, then I can lay down some instrumentally stuffs.

I don't think references to milf porn production will go over to well, either.
tf_zombie is totally a (quasi?)working entity already, too. Haven't messed with it yet, but I know it's in there.

Muwahahahahahaha, Scouts shall rule the schooooooool!
NO ONE EXPECTS THE SPANISH INQUISITION! Oh bugger.

Lasers are no match for boolet.
Stringing a laser between the two charge ramps sounds like a really funny idea, though.
So we could be looking at a whole map of this in the future?

Or make on-the-fly Rats style maps.

Intriguing, but it would help if they were swingin' to the actual beat.
his whole thing is funny but not meticulously made SFM stuff cranked out at a good pace

I'd actually say his sense of pacing is the defining feature

Not sure who the one taunting is, but I know the one above him is Cango.
Also, maybe I want to play TF2 with an xbox controller to see if I'm magically better with it.
