Remember when MTV played music videos with the little words at the bottom at the beginning and end?
Those were the good ol' days.
Remember when we were spoonfed our entertainment through carefully curated tv networks and top 40 radio stations and if you wanted to go find something interesting you had to go buy a cassette tape out of the back of someone's van or spend way too long talking to the creepy guy that worked at the college record store?
I do.
It sucked.
buying cds from radio stations is a weird experience and you can get some real gems of rare music to lord over people
It did not bother me when Bands would come to Cheyenne and sell their tapes out of the back of whatever they came into town with. You could talk to them about their music and how their tour was going
trips to the record stores of FT Collins seemed lame as compared to going to the radio stations of Greely and Ft Collins had a better selection but only one copy of it when they would sell what they had for next season's music
