Man, it'd be great if SE actually made whole sets of armor.
My kingdom for a pair of Iron (or Steel!) Scale pants.
Considering that those sets have boots that come up to the thighs and real world armor suits know better than to put hard armor directly on a joint, I can't agree with you.
Edit: That being said, those sets DO have pants as part of the set, they just aren't made by armor smiths.
Second Edit: Oh, you are referring to the dragoon sets. Yeah, that was also intentional. You want the class having slightly better armor than an archer but not as heavy as a Gladiator then you just add a few additional armor pieces to an existing set.

Only 4 of the books are in the game right now! So 1500 per for now until the patch in May when the rest release and the next horrible rng grind is revealed.

9 actually. 3 books for the main stat, 3 for vitality, 2 and 1 for the secondary stats. Total of 13.5k myth. Once you finish the 9th, the weapon changes into Animus and gets its glow and upgraded damage.
I got kinda mad at my raid group last night. We were doing Melusine (turn 7) and we got her to 5% and it was a guaranteed kill except our Paladin tank wiped us by using circle of scorn and aggroing a renaud.
If you aggro a renaud it fixates you and will 1 shot you if it gets close. So it 1 shot him, the off tank and the monk and then we wiped.
We tell him every single time to stop using it but he doesn't and it's really annoying.
You're literally wasting 7 other peoples time because you need to do some sick tank dps and you're trying to be clever by using it after a renaud spawns.
I actually saw Behemoth for the first time today. Someone in my FC called it out, and watching the hordes descend upon it (as well as the one dude tanking in the front) was just awesome. My computer was chugging like hell though to keep up with the sheer amount of people and visual effects all going off at the same time.

I typically run MRD/WAR, and in fact it's the only class I have at 50. I was leveling up my CNJ, and after a dungeon, got a commendation from everyone in the party. That's never happened to me before.

And Dave, you're not free until you've farmed like 10,000 myth stones.
Now books!

Brilliant!
The manderville is a key part to our strategy for the turn 6 boss.

Apparently it's the <blank>skin Breeches that go along with the armor I was using. So now I look awesome. Well, awesome-er.
Although I've got the tomestone weapon so it's ok!

Burn it all down.
I get more Comms as a Dragoon that doesn't stand in anything than I do as a tank that can pull large packs.
