Handheld gaming - Show the Vita some love

KevaduKevadu Registered User regular
So I found threads for both 3DS and mobile gaming, but I haven't seen a single mention of the Vita on this board :(

Certainly there must be other Vita players here. I think PAX would be a great opportunity to try out some ad-hoc multiplayer romps through Dragon's Crown. Would anyone else be interested?

Other suggestions?

Thanks for broaching this topic Kevadu. I second this motion for getting a Vita gaming group together during PAX. I brought my copy of Dragon's Crown and look forward to trying the multiplayer with whomever is interested. My PSN name is the same as my username here: SamuraiTech.

Does the Killzone beta support ad-hoc multiplayer? Seems kind of pointless if it doesn't...I haven't actually tried it yet, but I would be willing to give it a shot if it does.

SamuraiTech, we should totally do some Dragon's Crown sometime. Though I don't know when would be a good time...kind of hard to arrange these things...

Why don't we plan to meet up at the handheld gaming area on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. How much time do you want to allocate for Dragon's Crown?

What other Vita games offer multiplayer? Either co-op or competitive.

My Vita is in my backpack next to my 3DS, so showing it mad love. I'm on the BoltBus on my way to Seattle now, so I'll try and swing by the handheld area at some point and hold up my Vita in triumphant defiance of the 3DS hegemony.

    Handheld gaming area makes sense.

Saturday is out for me since I only have Friday, Sunday, and Monday tickets :(

Friday will probably be super busy as I try to see as much as I can in the exhibit hall early on. So Sunday or Monday would probably be the best bet. But I'll have to check the schedule to make sure there's nothing I really want to see first to see exactly when is good.

I'll be there Saturday only, and I'm bringing Dragon's Crown, Call of Duty, Wipeout, Marvel vs Capcom 3, and Mortal Kombat. I'll likely set up some ad-hoc Dragon's Crown between 8 and 10 while I wait for the opening.

Almost forgot, I'll bring All Stars too, arguably the best party game of the bunch!

I'm going to try and get up early enough to meet up for the 8am to 10am Adhoc you mentioned, Uno Ill Niño. I have Playstation All Stars as well. Let me know where you'll be and we can try to meet up prior to the opening.

Sorry dude. I was in line, but couldn't get decent wifi to access the net (no smartphone) so I missed this. Next time!
