My animals just end up displaying them in their houses. I've gotten a couple of them to change clothes, but Margie keeps on walking around in that stupid green shirt with the bird on it. That hasn't been an available pattern in my town since... Oh, the beginning?
Speaking of Margie, she's moving out on Sunday if anyone wants her.

Finally got my Golden Watering Can! And finished the regular HHA challenge, so I've moved onto the theme challenge. I picked fairytale because I've already got a full mermaid exterior, which should give me a decent head start, as well as a full set of regal, and only one missing from each of the Mermaid & Lovely sets (has anyone got a Lovely Armoire I can touch?).
@quietjay I've never done it myself, but I have a friend who uses her 3G hotspot to go online, with varying degrees of success. It depends on how good your 3G signal is, but it's worth a try.

Unfortunately I think villagers only wear shirts. The sheep wear shirts as scarves.
You are likely correct. I cannot recall a villager ever wearing a hat.
And I think when they use umbrellas they are not unique pattern, but rather umbrellas that appear as items in the game.

Our last stop is to Rami in his marvelous town of Lyre.
All the sights in Lyle are simply stunning and must be seen during a visit.
Finally Rami's home is is as impressive as as the rest of the town.
