I hate crickets in real life, but in Animal Crossing they are so much better. Cicadas though. They can burn.

You are all silly geese. Here are some pictures I took last week of a cicada hatching.

How is that not awesome? The thing was underground for 17 years, then climbed a tree, crawled out of its shell, and had wings!

Now it fucks for a week, and dies.

I think it is highly amusing that every summer a bunch of insects crawl out of the ground, grow wings, and then we get to hear them scream, "I want to fuck!" at each other.

If you have any of these, they are all I need to complete my gyroid museum. Once accomplished, I'll just put all extras into the gyroid pit in Omnar2. I may eventually decide to put all my gyroids into Omnar2, and sell every duplicate, thus making every gyroid available to catalog by everybody else.

If you want to help me out, but don't have any of these gyroids, you can always help me cross some shop items off of this list that I've compiled. Still haven't bothered making a moridb account to make a list there. This is plenty reliable, and I can make adjustments without needing the interwebzorz. :P

Edit: I'm also missing two balloons from the entire set.
I can order just about any balloon you want.

Edit: Also, Silver, Toxic says he has ordered the argyle knit shirt, aurora knit shirt, beaded tank, beatnik tank, beige emblem blazer, blue tartan tee, bunny shirt, chevron shirt , and crewel tee, so that's also part of the list I need to remove, but I normally don't do so until I've actually touched them and saved, just in case something happens and I don't get to touch them, and the items vanish (it's happened before...by nobody's fault other than the game's programmers).

This game has an automatic washer and a deluxe washer but no matching dryer? WTF. The Wario tee might have been a custom shirt, I've only see it in pictures. The hat would be awesome and the only thing left I need for my museum.

Is anyone trying to get the weed badge? I avoided the beautiful town ordinance so I could generate weeds to get the badge...but now I'm thinking that I ought to just go with beautiful town, and then if I want the badge later get it by doing lots of time traveling to generate weeds.

Gosh I hate the item display limit! I just did the math and I'll have to put all my music boxes on the floor and use all four rooms. Tables will be too many items. It's going to look so silly! It will be wide open space but over the item limit. Which also means I either have to choose which 19 songs won't make the cut or eliminate my fossil model room. Sadness!

I totally want the weed badge! I heard something about weeding day making it easier, although my most recent research indicated you have to generate the weeds for that event by not weeding your town beforehand, which would not be helpful. But yea, at two weeds a day *without* beautiful town, it's going to take almost a year!
