If there is one thing KC is built for it is holding leads. That defense and bullpen is pretty nuts.
They are probably one of the few teams that it gets harder to get hits/runs the further the game goes. Most teams bullpens are mainly pitchers who are there because don't have the endurance or pitch variety to be starters, with the Royals, they are arguably their best pitchers.
Plus, it turns out guys who can steal bases almost at will make incredible outfielders.
