On that note, you can say LD played badly all you like, but that doesn't change the fact that TSM played amazingly well too. Even in those messy 5v5s they probably should have lost, they focused the right people and blew up who they had to.
Though that long chase by Elise after vlad was totally a soloQ kinda move. Yeah, waste all that time on someone you know has their pool up. Great choice!

Been seeing a lot of Aatrox in the pros
maybe he'll get a skin that doesn't suck
Edit: Just plopped 50 bucks to pick up some of those bundles... I hate myself sometimes.

well that game went about as expected, probably longer then I expected.

I'm thinking SKT1 will take this game honestly.

I think the drama is funny. It's not TSM vs SKT1. It's Reggie vs SKT1. Lol.

Regi why
Why Gragas why
Welp, this ain't gonna end well.
Gragas gets dumped on by Ahri, Regi hasn't played him lately, Faker is going to own the shit out of him unless OddOne gets the clutchest ganks (hahahahaha)

Oddbro why
Fail flash
Oh well, got the Dragon
Dyrus getting camped super hard here, Regi slowly losing. Gonna have to be on WildTurtle...who is still down on CS.
I don't understand that gragas pick. Didnt seem to make sense with their team.
It was a team comp designed to keep Reginald from dying so he could be crowned the greatest mid laner in the world. It almost worked until he choked at the end : (

I don't think either midlane was that important in the end. TSM kept throwing at dragon and baron. Though regi really should have gone for more damage sooner instead of unholy grail.

funny, cloud 9 dumpstered TSM in NA finals a lot harder than SKT just did -- i'm going to credit that to TSM improving their play and various changes rather than cloud 9 being our new overlords, but koreans looking a lot more mortal recently all things considered

That bad fight in top jungle where he held Cask
That awful fight at Dragon where he took a terrible angle and so wasn't there

cloud 9 mentioned that tsm was winning 80% of their scrims, so cloud 9 learned how to ban tsm the hell out

At this point, if TSM can grab a lead ever I think they can hold onto it but they're having trouble dealing with early aggression or they're making bad early decisions that are screwing their strats.
So I've got a decent amount of rp saved up, and no champions are particularly flicking my fancy. I play a little bit of every role, mainly top though. I'm considering getting runes instead.
Right now, I use AD runes with armour and scaling mr on one, AP/mana per 5/Magic pen on my AP page, and I have a third page that I don't really use. I'm torn between making a support page, or making a specific page for yorick or something.
I don't understand that gragas pick. Didnt seem to make sense with their team.
The Gragas pickup was not bad. The Sona pickup was worse.
Orianna or any of the other standard AoE champions which Regi plays were likely not mobile enough to keep up with Ahri. The other thing that Gragas does, if played well, is the ability to knock people into Rumble ults/clean up. HOWEVER the other AoE champions they had on their team take that the other way. I.E. Sona->Rumble ult means that Gragas ult does nothing until the enemy team splits (when you would rather have the wombo). So pick one, rumble+gragas or rumble+sona and then have a different mid/support to combine. So why was the Sona pick worse?
Gragas is the only AoE based champion(besides Ziggs which Regi does not play) which provides both zone control and mobility, which are really important to the type of team fight that TSM was building. Sona however does not work well with Gragas and, most importantly did not work well against SKT's composition. Because SKT did not have a team that was susceptible to Sona ults* (even though some of Xspecial's were great, they were not as effective in team fights as another champion would have been) TSM was unable to create any positioning weaknesses
*A good example would be the OMG/Lemondogs game where Sona could get ults onto either the backline or the entire team because OMG did not have any real "front line" champions with which to effectively zone her out and because tristana has a harder time avoiding the ult due to the cast time on her goomba stomp.
All of that being said, the reason that TSM lost this game comes down to poor team fight positioning(at least one person was split on every engage) and then losing the vision game and thinking that they need to engage to "make up for it". If you lose the vision game you're now in a worse position than you were a minute ago. Why would you fight now that you're in a worse position? Give up the objective, back and go get more vision.
edit: Sona is so bad.
No seriously, the only team to win a game at worlds with Sona is Gambit (3 wins, 1 loss with Sona) and Sona did almost nothing in those games. Every other Sona pick has lost.

To be fair; this is a better win-rate than Lulu and Nami currently have.
I'm a bit worried by how well Zyra is doing so far, it might mean that she gets the nerfbat swung at her pretty hard in season 4.
Massive misplay by Cool and stupendous play by Faker.
Large pile of ~10 blue creeps under turret, Ori is poking the turret.
Gragas clears every creep but one with a barrel and immediately steps foward towards Ori.
Ori attempts to juke towards purple side blue buff in case of impending ult, then moves back toward blue side mid lane attempting to leave tower and Gragas threat range
Ori makes a huge mistake. With her E and W still up she instead chooses to Q->W combo Gragas to poke instead of securing her safety.
Gragas ults Ori perfectly under tower as the last minion is killed by the turret, forcing the turret to focus her and E's her midflight to slow her attempted escape.
After taking 65% of her health in damage from Gragas and tower burst, only then does Ori finally get her shield up. But it's too late.
Despite her flash, Gragas R+E+ignite+2 tower shots manage to kill her. Jarvan arrives but doesn't actually do anything other than buff Gragas with flag.
With a proper pre-ult shield and W available to hasten her escape, Ori might well have lived. For a little while anyway.
Just FYI, your embedded video has the right time for the Faker play, but your link takes you to the beginning of the video. That was a disgusting play though.
I'd Like to thank @Roz for the games last night. I learned a lot while playing with him; one of those things being that I am of Silver decision making and when I panic, I am of silver skill level. I got to focus on getting 1 thing done at a time and working around that. It was a great learning experience and I have a bunch of things to work on,including my champion pool. Which will just require me to grind out ranked games and Improve up on myself, which might wait till next season, because I am really enjoying FFXIV.

But don't you enjoy the delicious irony of Morello creating one of the most OP champions this side of old TF and Jax?

Had a blast finally trying Lulu last night. Holy cow what a great kit. It's like have Janna and Zilean's powers. I loved it. I'll have to keep saving up to get her. Though I really like Zyra support as well so we'll see which I want when I get there.

CertainlyT worked on her as well, so obviously Morello had a bad influence.
It seems interesting (and a little bit weird) that of the three support picks who are currently dominating - Zyra, Fiddlesticks, Leona - none of them were intended to be supports.

I'm starting to believe that laning against a Leona support is just as bad as Blitz.
They're both similarly feast-or-famine. Biggest difference is that Blitz's initiation doesn't have as much potential to put him in the middle of 5 angry dudes as Leona's. Leona has an actually useful ult, though.

when i was running a truly outrageous op taric, good leonas wouldstraight up murder me, and there was shit i could do about it. i tend to play her now where i used to play taric.
