Okay I know TI3 like did a whole new level of awesome with e-sports but this is like a lan party being streamed before e-sports were thing.
Seriously, they should of watched some of the big events and tried their best to understand why they work.
Answer: Starcraft II probably made more money in it's first hour on sale than MWO will make in the next couple of years. It's all about the $$$$$.
You can run a decent stream without the $$$$$$$.
I don't expect the stuff Valve, Riot or Blizzard does but they could still do a decent stream with good sound. I watch tons of non-pro folks who pull this off.
I can run a better version of this from my house. In fact, fuck it. I now want to put together an OBN tourney. Winners will get some basic MC package. Losers get OBN shirts autographed by the winning team, because at OBN we like to remind you that 2nd place is just the first loser.
He fucking should be. Whoever did the tech stuff on this failed miserably. They had two days to do setup, things should have been set up yesterday, figured out and fucking left alone.

There's no indicators for WHERE THE FUCK THESE MECHS ARE in spectator mode. Maybe if perhaps we had maps with actual lighting we'd be able to see what's going on.
I know commentary is way harder than anyone ever thinks its going to be, but goddamn these guys are bad. "Here are two teams. Here are two teams... Here... are two teams"
So if I can get a properly functioning rtmp server to get all the feeds together, what do you guys think about a setup like this:
10v10 with a weight limit, the other two spots on each team are for spotters/camera mechs that will be colored differently and will not be shot, providing the stream feeds. Intentionally nuking a spotter mech will result in DQ. Double elimination, figure out some sort of reward for winning teams. Run it once a month.

Would work, maybe have the spotter mechs suicide before the match so they swap views?

Actually feel they should of had OBN there.
Is anybody actually playing the game yet? I would at least be interested to hear what kind of 'mechs and loadouts are prevalent.
send help

That appears to be a no.
I feel bad for them :<
They'll get some fixes out once their sound guy comes back from vacation.
Well to be fair, it's a private set of servers.
no match found.

Also haven't seen a medium but the centurions.
Because I sure am not.
They did have the one LRM RS(C) mech.
Why are you filling this thread with more stuff for me to bitch about?
Is that where you want to go? IS THAT A THING WE REALLY WANT?
I've seen poptarting Highlanders pretty regularly, actually.

Also probably need lobbies.
