I just wish I hadn't been at work then I could have had the sound on and listened to the commentary about how he was firing LRM's from behind a rock at targets he couldn't see. Or judging the reviews of the commentary so far maybe I am better off not knowing.

I'm really enjoying this HGN-733P now that I have all the elite bonuses for it. I guess I should try a PPC build at some point?
2PPC 2LLAS 3SSRM2. Trust me.
seems kind of crazily hot, and I usually don't mind hot builds
do you just have an STD300 in there, or something bigger?
XL320. It does run hot, as do all primarily energy assault mech builds do. The key is to know your range bands and your weapon priorities. Your streaks are not to be fired unless your target is a light mech or is within your 90m minimum. You have great reach, and a killer combination of both precision and DOT. The key is fire discipline.
The build is not heat neutral but can dissipate quick enough to stay in the fight. Don't spam your shots, make them count. This build is useable on hot maps; I've had success on Terra Therma.
What we need is a good German word that addresses dakka and large-scale obliteration of opponents in a revelatory manner. I bet old Norse would have something great for that as well, complete with kickass runic lettering, but I bet the Germans have one that helps strip out all the emotion in favor of cold, clinical, mechanical application of warrior bloodfrenzy.

Also, I doubt anybody knows old Norse stuff.
BLITZKREIG!!!!!
No. No. That's way too mainstream and obvious. In fact, it was so obvious that I chose not to name it, because it was obviously too obvious.
Do we know what we'll be getting? I'm jonesing for a new game mode, or at least a new map. Something to make match number 756 feel different from match 439.

We should see the Atlas hero mech. Also 10/1 is one of three patches in October so it has a chance to include Island Metro as the new map. Other than that the rest is a, um, surprise.

I loved that place.

Guess we'll get to see if he can get anywhere without being able to weight stack.
"Look at that relentless LRM fire"
Atlas with red torso is not dying...
"Oh, he's stripped, they're changing targets, focusing on removing mechs effectiveness"
A "Horrible fake Japanese accent during Kintaro movie, really wants to be 'sexy gamer girl'" she
I'm usually the first one down!

that's why we call it the struggle, you're supposed to sweat

maybe I should try XLs, I don't seem to lose side torsos too often anyway

If you are twisting and hopping around and absorbing damage in places you'll be fine.
Just ask Mvrck about his Reaper (long live the Reaper).
[Edit: Wait, there's no patch. When is the next patch?]
Con...serv...ative... Like, I recognize the syllables, but that's no word I recognize!
Also, @Soggybiscuit: Yay!
It's probably some weird French word.

I set up some rtmp streaming with a red5 server once upon a time.

Victor is still sweetness.
Orion is still crap.
Teams of pubbie mouth-breathers are also crap:
The guy in the 4P who did 46 total damage was crowing in chat about how they "Steamrolled" us, too.
Yeah, that's a big one.
EDIT: Listening more, it sounds like they are copying aspects from a certain space game.
They are borrowing heavily from EVE.
And if they produced as much content and shit as EVE I would even pay a monthly fee.
So much mech. So many planets.
Also we so should of been Marik, cheap Orions for all!
