For halloween i would like to be Charlie Kelly as Dayman, at the end of the musical.

I'm trying to do it... relatively cheap. I had found a something or other that would make me one for around 100 bucks on the internet the other week, but it is now gone and i cannot find another. All I can manage to find is Dennis' costume, which, while great, is a bit too much spandex/codpiece for me.

Does anyone know any, i dont know, costume places or cosplay places or something that could just make me one cheap, out of cheap materials and whatnot? It's going to be tough actually finding a matching yellow suit that isn't a zoot suit

check out the salvation army or other donated clothing stores around you - this may take a while, but you can sometimes find interesting things... friend of mine dressed up as Gomez from the Addams Family one year and found the perfect pin stripe suit for next to nothing at salvation army

worse comes to worse, you can find a white or cream suit and dye or paint it?

I honestly have not found a single yellow or white suit in the 15+ thrift shops around here. Hipsters and old people snatch up anything awesome the instant it appears

I've dyed white clothes for costumes and it usually turns out really nice. And white suits are a lot easier to find than bright yellow.

EDIT: Oops, just saw that you can't find any white either.

Could you find a better black suit and bleach the hell out of it, to get it to white, then dye to yellow? That may open up your availability.

I've found one thats 120 bucks, but 20% off, and i think i'm going to try to return it after halloween anyway in a classic Philly move.

Now i just really need the shirt, i don't know what to call those shirts, with the white collar and cuffs?

"white collar french cuff dress shirt" is basically what it's called.

Thanks! That part is actually proving the hardest bit of this costume. Nothings quite YELLOW enough, man

Yeah I couldn't find anything either. May have to mellow your yellow all around.

If it's a suit, you're probably going to need to get it tailored.
If you get it tailored, you absolutely will not be able to return it.
