I got brave and tried Athena with two of the teams listed online.
Loki + Lucifer got smashed by Gigas
2 x Hera-Ur got murdered by Cu Chu
I guess I should patiently wait for the Bastet Ultimate Evolve and just beat it that way. The idea of a Athena + Jupiter + Freyja + Parvati + Michael team had me really excited though!
You see, I needed the 60% Light Resist to survive against the final boss. Except that won't keep me alive against the Demons, especially if Venus gets bound.
So in wave 5 I used Orochi to buy time, Lucifer to knock the Light Demon down to <50k health, and Adamant (the green/purple dragon) to swap in as leader and provide Dark resist.
I then swapped him back out later for waves 7 and 8 (wave 6 was almost entirely dark monsters), back in for wave 9, and then back out for the boss.
Suffice it to say, I'm really, really looking forward to the Artifact Dragons. I have ideas on how to use all of them!
Uriel to Red -> You take a big hit to below 25%, swap out and now you have 3x attack!
Orochi to Blue -> Survive a fatal hit with Perseverance, swap out and you're definitely at below 5% for 5x attack!
Michael to Green -> You take a small hit and you're still above 50%. Swap out and now you're at full for 3x attack!
Indra to White -> If you start to fall behind on RCV, 20% reduction is better than max health you're not using
And using the Dark one is pretty self explanatory. Everyone gets an (almost) Odin!
I should go through some of those tech dungeons to get the dragons. Just because they seem awesome from an art perspective and apparently gameplay too! Still in Hill of Iris' Rainbow though. Heck, I'm only in Frozen Soil of Presoil in the normal dungeons. Rank 170+...maybe I should get on that, haha.

What's the approximate drop rate on the stone dragons? I'd like to have them for collection purposes, but I don't want them badly enough to give up too much stamina.

Yeah, Fallen Lucifer and an Echidna might be close to enough. You'd have to go with a more aggressive lead than Persephone though - probably Loki.
And failed. Ugh. Should have gone with Siren/RK instead of 2x RK. I just couldn't reliably keep up against Hera herself. Everything up through that wasn't bad.

Cannon first turn. Arrange board so you have a bunch of hearts for the next 3-4 turns, making sure to hit him for at least a couple thousand in the interim. Heal once. Cannon again. Save your RKs for Hera IMO.
I had a lot of problems on Hera personally with a similar team however. I wasn't able to consistently match enough to orbs to heal back the 12k damage. I basically slowly fell behind and then died. Probably will try the next time Hera comes up, when my team has some more levels under its belt.

Is this the account with the Siren? If so, if this run doesn't work out, you may want to replace one of the RKs with the Siren. Having a consistent source of hearts makes Hera much safer.
Yeah everything up to her was no problem. I did get heart starved and ended up using 5 stones, 4 with the one from clearing. This is on my iPad so the Siren I have there is at skill level 5. I'm not sure if that would have been enough but it would probably at least have cut down on my stone usage. Next time I'll put her in and I'm pretty sure I can 0 stone it at that time. Now thinking about trying for a second Hera on my phone...
Yeah, honestly if I were going to try again (I think I'll just wait), I'd go Echnida/Siren/RK/Lilith as my subs. You should have a fat enough HP pool with that and you have more leeway. Dropping hearts every 5-11 turns is better than 50% damage every 20.
The only potential problem I see with that is lack of damage output could cause trouble on the first four stages. But I haven't tried it so couldn't say. At least it would for me, my Echidna is only like level 13 or something?

To be honest, if everything is skill maxxed you could run Valk/Valk Siren, Echidna, king Shynee, anything. You could leave it blank or take a wad of HP. I take Mastering. Two valks is completely overkill.
Well, Shynee isn't max-skill but everyone else is. Hmm...so you do Valk/Echidna/Siren/Shynee/Mastering/Valk? I could definitely give it a shot, though I don't have time today to try it. My Mastering is only mid-20s, so I'd go with someone else, but orb refresh would be nice. So many things to level!

Yeah, they've been available for well over a month. They went live in the same patch that enabled Hera-Ur.

I think what he is saying is the Mystic Stone Dragon is fairly worthless in this application without Lucifer/Orochi to knock out the light demon.

It's still slow, but faster than Odin/Ama since your max HP requirement is 3200. So you can run whatever offensive subs you want!
You only need 1k auto heal. The 3k is just what you need to survive a Hades hit. Both of which can easily be provided by Odin himself.
