What are the changes they're doing for Fizz? Because I kinda hate playing against Fizz, not just in the general "he's tough to counter" way but in the fact that's he can just be so goddamn frustrating.
so far they just lowered the ap ratio on his W to .15 from .35
Which part?
Currently it has two .35 ap ratios. One active and one passive. So it's .35 when not active and .7 when active. Since it's an on hit ability when you q you get 1.3 total(I think I don't have the wiki up)and when you have lichbane its 2.05
So if it's .15 on the passive or active part alone it's decent. If it's .15 on both it's pretty massive

It's just the active at the moment. It will only really affect him using it to last hit, while it will hurt his burst some he's still going to be able to instagib any squishy.
Does anyone have any pull with Riot to get a ticket review sped up? Last time I put in a ticket it took a long time for it to get answered. Weeks. I'm not real comfortable knowing that this guy could potentially bomb my bank account/have my address if my CC information is still saved on it.

You can't get CC information out of an account, fortunately. It's stored as a hash but it isn't accessible.
If it were, that would be a truly massive security hole. Even Riot isn't that bad at security.

We're talking about the same company that recently had a compromise where people actually took those hashes, right?

No, they only got the encrypted data. Shit would have hit the fan if they had gotten everything.

Are we reading the same thing?
What we know: user names, email addresses, salted password hashes, and some first and last names were accessed. This means that the password files are unreadable, but players with easily guessable passwords are vulnerable to account theft.
Additionally, we are investigating that approximately 120,000 transaction records from 2011 that contained hashed and salted credit card numbers have been accessed. We are taking appropriate action to notify and safeguard affected players. We will be contacting these players via the email addresses currently associated with their accounts to alert them. Our investigation is ongoing and we will take all necessary steps to protect players.
Is essentially them saying 'Hey, our stuff was taken, but it's cool, it's all in this weird number and text format that's not super difficult to decrypt.'
Regardless, what I'm getting at is this: My stuff was saved on my account. Did they wipe all the accounts personal information over this, or is my information still saved to the account? That's why I'm concerned.
Add Thresh 4/16/12 and Ninja Guy (Shen?, Anyway black mask dude) 5/10/7 (all against bots) to the Heroes I wont play this week. Not as bad a Nautilus (who has a cool backstory that I really like, wish I could play him, seems like he has...character), but still terrible.
I guess Moon Girl is probably who I am going to lean on for this week...any tips and or a video series I can look at to help a bit with her?
Slightly off topic but @Jaef I was going to recommend you play Sona, then I clicked on your channel and realized you all ready had a match recorded rather recently. So then I watched your replay of Sona (who Is my only hero i classify in my personal abilities column as less than "Whale Dung") Everything seemed pretty straight forward to me but you tabbed over to look at the game score to look at stats at least 15 times, any reason why? I can't figure why you would do this unless you were looking at your buddies items or K:D ratio or something, that and the ending of that game was very strange, did they all decide to go fetch a beer or bio break at a clutch moment? Very odd, fun to watch, but very odd. Also the skin you used for her doesn't seem to do it for me, so either way, if I do decide to buy her Ill at least know to not get that one.
Thanks for everyone's patience, being a rookie sucks.
The tl;dr version is that you're shit is still safe as long as your password hasn't been guessed. As for your info, I imagine they still have it saved.

It's a good idea to keep tabs on the items and relative CS totals of the people in the game. Also it's just a habit people develop, like clicking constantly for no reason.

We're all rookies... Even the people in the top 5% of players make stupid mistakes constantly, so don't beat yourself up about it. It took me about 7 months of playing 5-6 matches per day to get anywhere close to 'okay' at this game, let alone 'good'. The learning curve is very steep, so please keep at it. It also helps immensely if you play with people that know what's going on and can answer your questions as you play. Join the 'Penny Arcade' chat channel and ask people if they want to join you for a bot game. Most of us are pretty chill and will help you out with whatever you need.

There are a ton of reasons you want to look at the scoreboard all the time. At levels you wont even begin to worry about for hundreds of games you can track enemy ward counts and usage. Enemy CS to determine item timings, enemy itemization to determine your builds against theirs, keep track of how your lanes are doing vs. theirs in kills/CS/etc., levels of the enemy champs to track their ultimate availability/cooldowns, check enemy items to see if they have actually used their gold, spawn timers and a whole slew of other things. Also don't worry about dying to bots.
P.S. The best part of being Silver 1 is dumpstering on people who have 6+ ranks on you in ranked teams. Plat V Teemo main? Less CS and a lower k/d and first tower lost. Get wrecked.
I do wish ranked teams got an extra full league, at the minimum. To get gold in ranked 5s you have to play at least at a level equivalent to plat solo queue. Still, all else aside, it's damn near infinitely more fun, which is its own reward.

It's sooo important to take that lesson to heart. It's like, if suddenly we started breeding humans 8 feet tall weighing 400 pounds, the current pro athletes would all be out of a job. But no one is actually like that! Just play against the competition that is actually in front of you and try and get better in the ways you can actually control

You played really well and dumpstered some people ranked higher than you. All three of those games were an absolute blast.

As a side note, I highly recommend AP Zyra mid. I beat a Plat IV Diana main mid with Zyra. Especially before level 6, you just Q and root and plant her and she really can't do a goddamn thing about it. Post 6, if she gets on you, you pointblank root + ult and start running while she takes free damage from you empowered plants.\
In rage, she sold the Nashor's she was rushing and bought a Statikk Shiv. Also props to @Junlea for the best trashtalk I've seen in 100 games
Progress (sort of) After trying out all the Heroes available I settled on Moon Chick (Diana) she looks nice and most importantly I seem to see the synergy in the build, I was able to do some early lane harass with Arcing Spin Blades...thing (man I need to learn the names of this stuff) that goes with her Ultimate. I played a real PvP game with her and finished 12/9/11 not exactly the amount of time I would like to spend dead, but I was able to take the advice given to me in the thread about "what do you need more" and my answer was always more Ability points. Wish I could get the game to eat a screenshoot, but I cant figure that part out, just so I could show the results. I should have worked in some boots of some sort to the build so I wasnt so slow to respond to anything, but Diana seems to be who i will go with until they shitcan her next week. When I can pull some cash out of my ass I know who I am buying at least: Diana and Sona.
I will say this, this board is the best thing about LoL I have seen so far, so of the other forums and boards are....poison to say the least, thanks for all the positive input.

I think if I lose another game I'm dropping to silver 4.
Really lost a heartbreaker of a game through poor play on my part, right there at the end. Forgot I had a zhonya's, should've stayed with the group instead of trying to save the Annie who wandered off...

For the most part on these forums people will just refer to the skills with QWER. in general, for most champions, it's pretty straight forward as what an ability will do. I've never played dianna, but I know her Q is her skill shot, w is shield, E is pull in thingy, and R is ult.
Take heed, loyal subjects, for I will soon ascend. (I hope)

I did keep getting lag spikes in-game though, so it's probably for the best.

"Woah, I just scared myself!"
And my advice to new players is usually to try ranged champs before melee. It sometimes takes a while to learn when you need to retreat.
Also, intermediate bots are actually pretty difficult. Play against beginners to get a feel for a champ, i.e. not be dead all the time.
