From my limited understanding, the Cell architecture of PS3 is hard to program for but also powerful if you can understand it and utilize it directly

Which resulted in exclusive games looking amazing graphically while multiplatform ports typically suffered

So when you get a game that leans heavily on that stuff like The Last of Us or Beyond, it's harder to just port it to something that's more straightforward like the PS4/One

I'm reading Greg Sestero's book about making The Room and for some reason I just imagined David Cage and Tommy Wiseau being the same person

I know they're all hideously written but god I love the David Cage games.

I am under no illusions as to their quality from a storytelling standpoint, but there's just something about watching your friend play as a 50 year old private eye burping a baby.
