so you guys know this guy right
wait no hang on I mean this guy
he made these
uh
"games"
you know
one of them you fight the internet who's also a Mayan God
and the other one you spend five minutes trying to pour orange juice and yell JASON a lot and also wonder why all these Americans sound a bit French
now he's doing a new one!
so you're Ellen Page but you're also her ghost dude! and she's got special powers and she's on the run from the government, and...
wait
is this a military shooter
hang on
wait
is that
is that Willem Defoe
guys
guys I think David Cage is making a Spider-Man game, or a Metal Gear game, or a Crazy Shit game, or POSSIBLY ALL THREE AND MORE
it'll be out October 8th for the PS3, and it'll...definitely be interesting
so we can talk about it, or swap Indigo Prophecy/Heavy Rain stories, or whatever
Posts
I can tell you one thing that may or may not be true
Knowledge:
- It hits October 8th in America
- Demo is out tomorrow in America
- I'm glad to be an American tomorrow
So help me god YaYa if you are lying to me.
I have heard this from two separate sources, so, we'll see!
Ellen Page is, like, a martial arts master in this game.
Punching and kicking half a dozen cops unconscious on top of a speeding train during a rainstorm.
David Cage somehow gained access to my dream journal
Oh, and you know the motorcycle minigame from FF7?
That's basically in there, too.
The internet and mayan gods were enemies
it's like you didn't even pay attention to that totally coherent script

Most likely not, no
oh fuck I forgot about that
can I be bothered adding into the OP
lemme check
Well fuck them
how hard can that shit be
So I'm guessing...very?
Look this might as well be magic for all I understand it
From my limited understanding, the Cell architecture of PS3 is hard to program for but also powerful if you can understand it and utilize it directly
Which resulted in exclusive games looking amazing graphically while multiplatform ports typically suffered
So when you get a game that leans heavily on that stuff like The Last of Us or Beyond, it's harder to just port it to something that's more straightforward like the PS4/One
Like seeing Ellen Page dressed like an elite military soldier just gives me the giggles.
Its like "Damn, Juno's been through some shit."

Kristen Stewart
whatever scrawny little teen dude is the hot business right now
that nerd from Hunger Games
I bet she could do spec ops
The demo was 3 gigs!
alas, i do not
This demo is pretty goddamn great
And weird little quirks
The French guy that's trying and failing terribly to sound like a police officer with a southern accent pronounces "CIA" (as in the Central Intelligence Agency) as "sigh-a"
I thought maybe I misheard it the first time but I just confirmed it on a second run on the demo
I'm reading Greg Sestero's book about making The Room and for some reason I just imagined David Cage and Tommy Wiseau being the same person
I am under no illusions as to their quality from a storytelling standpoint, but there's just something about watching your friend play as a 50 year old private eye burping a baby.
Steam: ZappRowsdower
Holy shit I forgot this was coming out. How is the book?
