I just had to go and google the term "busing" because the practice predates my lifetime. And unless the government has decided to start assigning mandatory new jobs to lesbians I can't see how it could possibly be construed as relevant to this legislation. But yeah, I'm sure young people are totally on the same page as McCain.

I would think shipping containers would be infinitely sturdier than trailers considering they're actually designed to be stacked like cordwood.

Trailers are also prone to a good amount of wear and tear though, and if you are a DIY kind of person it's fairly easy to fix certain things but it can be a pain otherwise.

Also the older models are often hugely energy inefficient. For example, mine. The back door has basically no seal around it any more due to the warping of the door frame, the windows were cheap ones even in the 80s, and the park I live doesn't have natural gas lines so on top of all the efficiency problems I'm paying a higher amount per unit of fuel anyway. My option in winter becomes Pay 500 dollar a month heating bills or freeze.

Another thing is the cost, for our 80s model trailer we pay more than we would for an apartment with comparable space and utilities included, in the loan payment plus lot rent alone.

Yes but with the trailer you can just start nailing wooden boards over everything.

Thats how you solve every problem in a trailer home.

By nailing wooden boards on it.

except for being conservative/republican voting not really

like, if memory serves, deacon blues was kind of a bad person

Jasc doesn't seem more hateful or stupid than anybody else on the forums, though as the little voice in the echo chamber he gets targeted with a flurry of posts which lets him get away with being obtuse and not responding

edit unless you think agreeing with enough of the american right's positions to vote for them means you are inherently hateful and stupid, in which case yes I'm sure jasc is basically new deacon blues to a lot of people
