I'm highly biased on rank structure, because I was there on the front when we went from peace-time to war footing.
I worked my ass off in Pakistan and Afghanistan. It's been a decade and I still have nightmares. But now, you can go on deployment as a clerk, as an E2, with an actual air conditioned building to live in and not have to worry about enemy fire, and come back with a promotion to NCO ranks as as "Hey thanks for not making shitty tweets" prize.
I know it's all different now, but damnit. Damnit.
I know when my brother got back from service he didn't have a high opinion of officers.
Called em Pogs or something, said that a good deal of them don't even do any kind of real service and they get way nicer accommodations.
So...your blog standard managerial position really.

There are some very interesting statistics in this thing which I just found linked from an article Orikaeshigitae posted on Facebook.
When asked what lingering concerns he had about backing ENDA, McCain replied, "Whether it imposes quotas, whether it has reverse discrimination, whether it has the kinds of provisions that really preserve equal rights for all citizens or, like for example, busing. Busing was done in the name of equality. Busing was a failure. Quotas were a failure. A lot of people thought they were solutions. They weren't. They bred problems."
Polls show that a majority of Americans support making it illegal to fire LGBT individuals, and young voters -- including Republicans -- are more supportive of gay rights than older voters.
Yet McCain insisted young people would share his concerns about the legislation.
"I think the young people know we do not need reverse discrimination, they don't believe in quotas and they don't believe in some of the programs we saw in the name of racial equality implemented in the past which turned out to be counterproductive," he said. "Ask people in Boston if busing turned out to be a good idea." http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/10/29/john-mccain-enda_n_4175050.html

the overwhelming majority of enlisted troops, myself among them, don't think much of officers
because all we ever see them do is create unnecessary work for us
which they later take credit for
maybe they're generally hardworking, worthwhile people

I just had to go and google the term "busing" because the practice predates my lifetime. And unless the government has decided to start assigning mandatory new jobs to lesbians I can't see how it could possibly be construed as relevant to this legislation. But yeah, I'm sure young people are totally on the same page as McCain.
but they're only good if you can afford to live out in the boonies
urban trailer parks are some of the worst places on earth
Trailers are also prone to a good amount of wear and tear though, and if you are a DIY kind of person it's fairly easy to fix certain things but it can be a pain otherwise.
Also the older models are often hugely energy inefficient. For example, mine. The back door has basically no seal around it any more due to the warping of the door frame, the windows were cheap ones even in the 80s, and the park I live doesn't have natural gas lines so on top of all the efficiency problems I'm paying a higher amount per unit of fuel anyway. My option in winter becomes Pay 500 dollar a month heating bills or freeze.
Another thing is the cost, for our 80s model trailer we pay more than we would for an apartment with comparable space and utilities included, in the loan payment plus lot rent alone.

Yes but with the trailer you can just start nailing wooden boards over everything.
Thats how you solve every problem in a trailer home.
the slide suggests the NSA is contemplating the network topography of google in order to carry out an unauthorized attack

If the NSA wants to read through all of my Ninja Turtle/Star Wars crossover fanfics I've painfully labored over each nano (90% of my google docs), then power to them.
except for being conservative/republican voting not really
like, if memory serves, deacon blues was kind of a bad person
Jasc doesn't seem more hateful or stupid than anybody else on the forums, though as the little voice in the echo chamber he gets targeted with a flurry of posts which lets him get away with being obtuse and not responding
edit unless you think agreeing with enough of the american right's positions to vote for them means you are inherently hateful and stupid, in which case yes I'm sure jasc is basically new deacon blues to a lot of people

I would think shipping containers would be infinitely sturdier than trailers considering they're actually designed to be stacked like cordwood.

See, Joke detector getting slightly better
but he was against the shutdown
so I just despise him
if there's a difference
he cited a 'reverse-discrimination' concern as a reason to oppose LGBT legislation
I really don't give a hoot on where he was concerning the shutdown
Twitch (I stream most days of the week)
