Am I reading into this too much when I think it's telling that we have heard our first announcement about PAX-related stuff (i.e., official announcement of PAX Australia 2014 dates) since PAX Prime ended? Could this be a heads up that a PAX East announcement is coming very soon???
I don't think I ever shopped at a Mervyn's, but I have long remembered this commercial. It's fairly close to how I am feeling these days, particularly the last few seconds.

How much do you guys reckon three day passes will cost this year? I was at PAX in 2010 but I honestly don't remember how much we spent.

Here's hoping I can get another free trip to Boston out of my work. Had fun the day I was there last time, and this time around, no sick cats to die while I'm there!
Though the whole 'you need a passport for your id' thing was a little odd.
I'd certainly enjoy going to Prime if I ever get the chance (even though it'd be way more expensive), but I have to say that being sent scurrying around downtown Seattle to get to different venues really doesn't sound appealing. Having everything under the BCEC's roof is simply awesome.

I'm definitely gonna try and fail to grab a 3 day pass for this
then I can spend some time hating travel and lodging prices/logistics

that's actually one of the best parts of prime, tbh. there's so much stuff immediately outside the convention and the hotels are closer walking distance wise. the additional venue space outside the WSCC isn't a huge thing, I like the BCEC better because its just larger and easier to get around in but outside the convention center is not even comparable to seattle. also the # of restaurants around the WSCC is a great and cheaper alternative to aramark catering inside the BCEC. There are the food trolleys to take you to different places around boston though.

I'm ready for the next PAX already!

I might be somewhere with no internet access tomorrow
guess I'll have to plan accordingly

Well, once you've had Prime, what can compare really
BCEC > WSCC
Area around BCEC < Area around WSCC
See what I did there? ... No? Alright then.
Prime was nice, but way too expensive. I'm not sure if the cost and the experience really balanced each other out.

Well I'm sorrrrrrryyyyyyyy.

I am in the same boat. Stuck in an all day meeting.
Maybe I can do this secretly while the meeting is happening
