I enjoyed the first DeathSpank but it definitely was repetitive. After accepting the Gaben into my life I could never justify the PSN price tag for the sequels. But if I buy the HumbleBundle I'd have to replay the first because reasons. It's for the chillins right?
I tried to activate in Steam, but either your code is broken or someone already took it...
What code?
...Not sure if serious.
And having just tried both of mine, it seems that retail keys for the original base game versions of the Batman games aren't working on Steam at the moment.
You know what's funny? I had so many coop calls for OTR last night that I almost made my game private. I really hope people are able to co op after GFWL comes down. But this is capcom.
Oh, that's why Batman AA GOTY popped up in my library! Was going to straight up buy the GOTY version when I launched the vanilla version after hearing GFWL got stripped and found it was still there. I'll think I'll grab City in appreciation of a fantastic move by the developers.
Also, there's no rotating daily on the Stardock weekend, right? Was thinking about grabbing Fallen Enchantress:Legendary Heroes but didn't know if I should wait or not.

I am hanging out in chat, using it as my personal therapy as I work through Amnesia, and @Chocobolicious threw a key in there for Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project which I snagged. Thanks!

I used to think it was kind of weird that the GOTY editions of the Batman Arkham games were completely separate on Steam. Now it's going to slightly bother me that I have both editions of each in my games list.
Not being able to carry over your save kinda sucks too, but I'd probably start a new game if I was gonna play either of them again.

Use your categories. Put replaced games in category "Z-Replaced Games" and they'll go down at the bottom of your library, right above uncategorized games.

Sorry, was making a bad joke that I didn't understand "ANACHRONOX!" and had assumed it was a Steam code. Joke needs more obvious.

I watched a LP of the first 20 minutes of A Wolf Among Us and now I'm craving that but I must wait for a good deal!
Then I remembered I hadn't played TWD : 400 Days.
Ach, right in the feels.
I want to play the copy I bought, but I also need to apparently replay TWD because my PC died before they added cloud support and, despite have a ton of save issues, nobody ever created a save file generator. Hell, if I could figure out the format of the files I'd make one myself.

Yeah, my save had sent me back to Chapter 3 and I just skipped to 400 days--there seems to be one or two differences but it is overall pretty self contained.

I hope they fixed these save problems for TWAU.
I'm also going to want my Season 1 save to import into Season 2 so I figure I'll replay before playing 400 Days.
A Capcom rep also confirmed that its games (a la SSFIV:AE) will be stripping out GFWL as well. So maybe don't get too attached to those game saves either.
That game is just pure fun, outside of the servicible but forgettable battle system. All the characters are great.
Like, one of the characters is
An entire planet that does everything democratically, who use a shrink-ray to turn their whole planet human-sized, so that they can join your party.
Oh god yes. Gameplaywise it's pretty much the bastard love child of FF7 and some far more forgettable JRPG, but pretty much every other aspect of the game is remarkable. It looked dated even then, but they pulled off some excellent cinematography and stage direction in the cutscenes; the city of Anachronox remains visually distinctive, basically Blade Runner directed by M.C. Escher. The setting is deliberately weird and fantastic, played with a straight face and featuring a lovable cast of eccentrics. This isn't nostalgia talking; I replayed it recently when it showed up on GOG, and while the gameplay is at best tolerable, there is almost no aspect of the plot or game world I would describe as bland or uninteresting.
Could gush about it for hours. Tempted to do a Let's Play, actually. Suffice to say, a damn fine game.
Meh, AC GOTY has separate achievements than AC vanilla and I'm one away from completion. Hopefully vanilla will work w/o GFWL
What I think I may end up doing, is using the achievement editor, pop all the cheevos in vanilla AC, uninstall it, then in GOTY just check off all the ones I had before, assuming I can transfer my save, otherwise I'll just have to go alllllllll the way through again.

Pretty sure Anachronox is the funniest game ever made. It's at least third.

Verify integrity of game cache. That or trying to run the game in online mode should trigger the update.

Not sure if the vanilla version got patched. You should have a new AC GOTY in your library, just install that one.

The most important game being, of course, Deadly Premonition. But you can't have that yet. Patience, you filthy human.
Sweet . . . thanks for choo-choo-choosing me for the train DLC @Jragghen !
Guess they missed a spot.
I tried using the files from my vanilla installation and Steam seemed to detect them but it ended up downloading the whole 17gb anyway.

From what I can tell they only removed GFWL from AA so far, I guess the AC patch didn't roll out yet.
Can play AA just fine with no GFWL or SecuRom, AC however still has GFWL and Securom (At least for me)
