Important to note: That's what your library is worth. Things you get on sale won't show up as that, things you bought at full price will show as their current, probably reduced price. To say nothing of bundles. It's the limitation on all these calculators. So your Humble Bundles that you spent $1 on? Probably showing up as close to $50 from all the games. It's also why these things are completely out of wack during the Summer/Winter sales. It also counts gifts as having been bought.
Over the last 6 years, you've spent 3253.7 hours playing this selection, which includes 491 items, is valued at $6258.33, and requires 1555 GB
I've spent (on Steam, not via keys from other sites, so not terribly accurate), $1603.08 - a far cry from that valuation. Although a fair amount of that comes from sites like the Humble Bundle, there was also the $100 I spent on a L4D2 4 pack....where the other 3 people paid me back for it. So in the long run, that's probably a wash. Anyway, 50 cents an hour ain't bad Also my dollar spent count doesn't count gifts - or, in retrospect, ones I bought as gifts to hold onto then redeemed myself...eh. Close enough.
Also not counting wallet funds which have gone to cards because I'm a GIANT COLLECTION WHORE and found some bonus money I didn't realize I had and have no self control
*sigh* I'm officially over the 1.5 TB size which is my Steam drive right now. I knew this (I've been flirting with the limit with what I've got installed for a while now), but I guess it's time to buy a HDD which isn't going in the server.
This will tell you how many gigs it would take to install your entire library. It will also tell you how much money your entire library is worth, and how much time you've spent playing games...
Holy crap. ~1900 hours over 7 years: 425 in X3.
Now I feel obliged to buy Rebirth just to give them more money .
Wow, that Juarez: Gunslinger + Far Cry: Blood Dragon double pack for $12.50 is a goddamned steal. Two of my most fun recent gaming experiences.
if anyone wants to maybe split the pack lemme know, i want some gunslinger

I guess the problem with that time played section is that Steam didn't start counting the amount of time played for each game until....late 2007, maybe?
So, you want to survive the Zombie Apocalypse...This is a Project Zomboid Giveaway, it hits early access on Friday.
What 2 things would you want by your side? PM me your go-to things that you would not want to be without.
These things, they can be items, or a person(s) (we're excluding family members, children, etc.. here, unless they are your asset). The only people that cannot bring are characters that are currently undergoing the zombie apocalypse themselves, EX: Rick Grimes, Brad Pitt (like people would bring either) or Ash/Bruce Campbell, etc...
Example:
I would bring Chuck Norris and a Bow Flex, so when he's not punching through the cranial cavity of zombies, he can work out in his downtime.
Or
A stick of meat and dynamite. You know, zombie homing bombs a la Dead Rising 2.
Sometime Friday I'll pick a winner so PM me your entry for a chance to win!
SMALL PRINT:
Russian spies not valid participants. Local Steam Chat usage fee's apply. Early termination fee doesn't matter because you know, that would mean you died, which you will be terminated early, I almost made it 1 day last night, I mean the intro says "This is how you die" so it's pretty obvious this is a rogue-like (loose term, okay!?), survival game that has no Winning screen currently, also, run on sentences don't matter as they aren't subject to termination fees in the zombie apocalypse.
I am still waiting to hear back from Desura support about extracting a steam key. If they cannot do it, you'll have to sign up for a desura account to extract the key. No CC info needed to be entered, just an account. But hopefully you won't need to, I'm still waiting to hear back.

Late '08 / early '09, I think.
I wish it went back to the launch of TF2. It would be nice to know if I have spent more time on that or Dota 2.
So how's Gunslinger? I know I want Blood Dragon but I have no idea what the heck the other one is.
Gunslinger is fucking awesome is what Gunslinger is. Arcadey FPS action with Skillshot style bonuses (like Bulletstorm), set in a cool Wild West world with duels and Colts and dynamite (like Red Dead), with a neat art style and RPG-lite skill system (like Borderlands) and the entire story is narrated (like Bastion) by an unreliable narrator that changes events, enemies and locations on the fly (like, I don't know, some fucking game I can't think of).
It's not so long that it out stays it's welcome, it's fun and funny and a blast and it might be my favorite game of the year.

-A New Beginning, Final Cut
-The Whispered World (Steam)
-Edna & Harvey: Harvey's New Eyes (Steam)
-The Chronicles of Shakespeare: Romeo & Juliet
-The Chronicles of Shakespeare: A Midsummer Night's Dream
Pay at least $6 to get these too:
-Journey of a Roach (Steam)
-Deponia (Steam)
-The dark Eye: Chains of Satinav (Steam)
I'm having a GFWL problem. Every once in a while, it says that it can't log in to GFWL for Fallout 3 so I can't access my saves. Is there any way to fix this?
It's a pretty good CCG and you don't need to invest any money into the game. I've played it a ton (launched as a Non Steam game and on my iPad) over the last 5-6 months. To bad none of that playtime will show in my Steam stats.
My skills as a playwright have finally paid off! The good @Orivon has seen fit to gift me Jet Set Radio, as recompense for my tale of suffering and woe.
Aw pooh. I just remembered I meant to leave some games idling at home while I am at work today. I need to generate some cards I can sell to raise $2.55 in wallet moneys.
Over the last 8 years, you've spent 2223.3 hours playing this selection, which includes 217 items, is valued at $3785.99, and requires 921.1 GB
That's not so bad. What is that, 92 days and not even 1TB? I might actually be losing Steam, judging by some of the other posts here. I need to work harder.
I think ive found the secret to having only a moderately impossible to complete backlog compared to a crippling 'I never will finish it so why even start. *Adds 200.00 to the steam wallet*."
Stay away from humble bundles. They may be massively easy ways to grow your collection and they try to hook you by pretending its all about the charity. However we all really know that GabeN is standing behind each humble bundle giggling like a schoolgirl. It's not that he wants the money (he stopped needing that long ago). and its not that hes exactly evil. But the thing is that while we have our profiles that say 'you own 600 games!!!' and you think "lets go for 700" and laugh, GabeN has a secret profile somewhere that says 'you have sold 48 billion games' and he thinks 'lets go for 50 billion'.
Also a brief reminder that in 8 days the game of the year will be releasing

Also I don't think it started tracking time until half way through Steam's life-cycle. Cause I spent hours upon hours in both 1.6 and source, but source is only showing like 46 hours on my time played and 1.6 is like .7 hours.
I keep buying Humble Bundles and then not really doing anything with them because I keep telling myself I'll gift them out and then I forget.
So here they are, finally.
At least some of them. Did you know SteamGifts limits people's classiness? For shame.
As for the others, here's what else I have to give away.
I've been listening to The Moth podcast lately and found some of those stories pretty interesting.
So if you want any of these games, PM me a story. Any story.
The Showdown Effect
Europa Universalis 3 Complete
Magicka and Crusader Kings 2 (they're together with one key for some reason?)
Telltale Games bundle (Back to the Future, Sam&Max: Devil's Playhouse, Hector: Badge of Carnage!, Poker Night at the Inventory, Puzzle Agent 1 & 2, Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures)
Cities XL Platinum, Blood Bowl: Legendary Edition, Divinity II: Developer's Cut, R.A.W. Realms of Ancient War, Game of Thrones, and Confrontation (again all bundled together in one key) Wargame: European Escalation, and The Testament of Sherlock Holmes (one key)
The Lord of the Rings: War in the North
F.E.A.R. 3
F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin
Dead Space
Medal of Honor
Mirror's Edge
Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 - Uprising
Crysis 2 Maximum

Has anyone played Lucius or Bang Bang Racing? Thinking of getting the bundle for those and Dirt 2 if they're any good

Well that makes the decision easier, thanks

edit: people are reporting issues with that one. The Fallout Script Extender appears to disable GFWL without breaking anything.

That's weird. Where I live, Saints Row 4 was released a couple months ago.
I think I've spent roughly 6 dollars on a combined 3 Humble Bundles, so that confirms the "original price" is being used.
Dare I needlessly double dip?
