Transferring images from a Samsung Contour 2(phone) to a computer?

I used this phone as a last ditch resort to take photos of cosplayers at UltraCon, but I can't get them to come up when I connect it to the computer, although it picks up something.

I don't have an SD card in the phone, so I assume it's using internal memory. Is there a way to access them, or will I need to get a card before that's possible?

Thanks all.

I have a different Android phone but I have never been able to access my internal memory on my computer via cable. Only SD card. So you probably need one of those unless someone else here has a magic solution.

Just to head off any confusion that might be caused by the post above, the Samsung Contour 2 is not an Android phone. It is a very basic "feature phone."

Anyway, for the OP - Here is your answer:

There is no way to get the pictures off the phone by connecting it to your computer; your only option is to try to send them to your email via multimedia messaging.

Google tells me that the Contour 2 also only has 55MB of internal memory, so I have to ask how many pictures you took? (Though at its camera's max resolution of 640x480, I guess you could probably take a fair number). I assume you've verified that the pictures are actually still on the phone? You can view them on the phone?

Also, the Contour 2 also does not even have a slot for an SD card.

It uses micro SD. It also holds quite a few. The 30 I took only took up 11MB or so.

And yes, they're on the phone and I can view them, I just can't find how to get them off. Even tried texting them to someone and it said they weren't a valid Metro PCS member or some nonsense.

It's a 1.3 MP (likely 1280x1024) camera, and the phone is capable of taking up to a 32GB MicroSD card, according to Samsung's website.
