Yeah this is compelling enough. It isn't something I gave a lot of thought to, just something that bugged me because depraved bisexual is such a thing. It hadn't come up again until now.

Like I was saying earlier, a huge part of the movie is what it's saying about the Bond series that came before it. It's no mistake that this is the movie they made for the 50th anniversary of 007.
Pretty much every step of the way it's full of symbolism, allusions, references, and subversions pertaining to the series.
You know, like how the film starts with him "dying" and then "coming back to life". Or how the central theme of the movie is reconciling "the old ways" with "the new ways", and how the past keeps coming back to haunt them. Or how the last act of the film has Bond return to his childhood home, and how the ensuing climax sees the entire place burned to the ground.
