You're lagging behind Delph. I have 11 more pets in my close-knit minion family. Butt Toast the Goobue laughs at your inability to catch them all. Get on my level.

factions, 3 'new' level cap dungeons (2 are hardmodes 1 is totally new), extreme primals, hardmode ultima, King Mog, Daily dungeon/guildhest roulettes, increase in xp from dungeons, leves and otherwise making leveling a bit more diverse; oh and Crystal Tower. Well, technically not actually CT, but yeah, 24main 'raid', that ultimately works more like LFR in WoW but is still fun with neat armor sets, if not a pretty stupid loot system. :rotate: And overall just a lot more options for tome farming to make it less of a grind (with a bigger weekly cap on Myth), if not a bit too easy to farm Philo but hey, I'll take it.

I really hope they reset the CT loot lockout with last night's patch. I got screwed out of loot for the SECOND time with another pair of bard pants I can't use because of that stupid bug on the last boss and slow ps3 loading times. I've gone 5 weeks now and have managed to not goose up looting for my healer twice.

I'm pretty sure you can just make a macro that swaps all your main bars to your pet bars and back when you wanna summon a pet... or turn all your pet bars into a cycling bar.

Basically one button on the bar would be the cycle macro and it would increment numbers each time.

On bar one the macro would be:
    /hotbar change 2

On bar 2 it would be:
    /hotbar change 3

    And on 3:
    /hotbar change 1

So that same button would swap between them all without having to use 3 on screen ones, or however many you use.
Again I "think" thats how the command works, never bothered to try it myself. There might also just be a way to swap your main bars at the bottom to all pet bars and back... dunno what other hotbar commands there are.

I think Delphi actually has all 10 bars full of pets by this point. So it's not a matter of screen real estate, it's a matter of game engine limitations.

Yeah I'll probably either use the Brayflox sets or base AF.

Some of the CT sets are really cool though.

It'll really just depend on how it's all implemented. Will it be per slot, per class, per item? It just depends.

I can't decide whether I want to play Scholar or White Mage for healing, at least at first. I still have Conjurer at 20 and Arcanist at 31, so neither's at top form yet. I'm not sure I like dealing with the Fairy much, but on the other hand they get easy leveling with Summoner, but on the other other hand I have to split bonus stats for them, and WHM gets Holy, but SCH has infinite mana, and

SCH does require Fairy micro, but you won't really need that until you're doing Coil and whatnot, EX Primals. I've healed everything up to Titan HM with Fairy on autopilot.

WHM doesn't feel like it's worthwhile until you're into the 40s, but after you get all your toys it's pretty nice.

They changed their approach and appear to be only reducing the cost of the Small plot of land (for now). Basically they think people want the Small Plot and aren't buying just because of the price. People aren't buying because it's barely big enough for one person, let alone a FC.

It's cool, though. I already know what Personal Housing will look like. Bet it only costs you like 5 Million, too.

I've healed Garuda Ex with Fairy on Autopilot. I am not a pet-macro-er, so my Fairy will always be default. I place them somewhere useful and then treat SCH like a poor version of a WHM (that generates less threat). As for Mana, I rarely have any issue with it on my WHM. SCH does indeed have ways to generate a lot more, though. And Fairy basically is "free" mana.

We had the unfortunate oppertunity to try out vote abandon last night. Had a blackmage in the party that thought freeze was his killer skill and was spamming it. We corrected him nicely and suggested he use his Astral/Umbral rotation. To his credit he did! Except he was spamming blizzard and tossing in the occasional fire.
    Moments later, the dungeon ended.

Pretty much every CM I've gotten via roulette lately has had a SMN who is using Titan because 'they're all dps pets!', and it's getting annoying as shit. One even managed to get all the cannons destroyed which made the whole thing take way longer than necessary.

I'm all for patience with new players, but when multiple people point out you should change something, and those players clearly are more experienced, there's a decent chance they might know whats up.

Depending on your mana pool for WHM you can run into issues. I of course haven't healed coil, but unless you have to do a LOT of raising in dungeons during a fight or spam regen+medica you shouldn't have too much of an issue, especially once you have Shroud to start using every time you've used a decent portion of your mana pool.

WHM just has to be more selective on what to cast and use in any given moment compared to a fairy healer. Even with microing, the fact that you have basically an extended mana pool is nice. It gives a little leeway in mistakes compared to WHM at the cost of aoe heals in a pinch.

But I agree with @Ishtaar . You should at some point look at how you manage your fairy and kinda start adapting it somewhat. Is it necessary? Depends on the group you run with but ultimately it wouldn't hurt if you can.

Reason I don't macro my Fairy is because I don't (typically) SCH heal. I am a WHM main. I SCH when the group already has a WHM and me being a SCH brings more utility than a second WHM. So, I have put very little time into "learning" SCH besides the obvious parts of the class (Shields, bubble, Aether, etc...I am not a fan of pet classes).

Running Darkhold again reminded me that that dungeon isn't all that hard, even though it was basically my third time thru it. My tank is almost of level to start running it. I need to start running Brayflox though to finish off my battlemage set. I keep putting it off because I'm a horrible person when it comes to motivation some days.

I've had the most problems with Stone Vigil pug groups especially on the last boss. More than a few groups have had no issues with the dungeon until the last boss where it's a bit of a crapshoot if you'll get a kill or not.

It's kind of a shame because I really like SV despite the generally mediocre loot until the great looking weapons from the last boss (I really want the bow for vanity options).

From what I see, its usually the switch up from the first flight phase aoes to the subsequent flgiht phase aoes. From my fights the first couple of flight aoe bouts are always length ways (up down) and then near after it almost always goes sideways (left right). Reaction times vary among people so there's a good chance yer at the far side of neither middle section and won't clear it in time before it hits.

What I've seen in my groups though is usually the circle aoes. Stacking up helps since you get one aoe per char (I think) so if you are grouped up they will all be concentrated in one area. Thing is every one dodges their own way so you can have a lot of aoe taking up valuable real estate.

So usually if I'm trying to educate a group, I usually state watch out for the large field hits (always group up in middle for that), try to all move in the same direction to get out of the red circles while stacking, and don't stand in the ice patches after the circle aoes have hit (Some players forget this and end up taking hits that could have been avoided). Unless you get some oddities with aggro, you should usually have a corner free that you can drag the dragon back to and only range have to move around the standing ice circles till they time out.

I think I've never wiped on that boss, though I have wiped on the second boss since some players will attempt to activate a cannon while in a tornado and die pretty fast.

Vote features remind me a lot of League of Legends. It can sometimes hurt the community when people use it and in the end it turns into a system used to rate/judge how someone else is playing.

I'm more of a Dota 2 player though, where last I played there was no vote abandon thing... funny thing is, if people can't bail early on, sometimes things can really turn around once the little mistakes aren't focused on.

FFXIV is a different game of course, but I can see that blackmage not feeling like he ran into a very friendly community of people after who knows how long he waited for the instance... CT I assume? Certainly not an instance that a single DPS doing bad would stop completion of happening.

Every time I've done AK we've downed the wall as the wasps spawn. This time he wasn't even halfway when they did, then no one could stun/avoid/cleanse the paralysis and it just becomes a clusterfuck combined with still fighting the wall.

Of course the only failed instance I've been in so far has been the one I needed for my relic quest.

Its just when people use it because they don't agree with the way someone plays, then its not helping the community.
