Looking at the Sherlock Holmes bundle... wasn't there a Sherlock Holmes game that was straight up Sherlock Holmes v. Chtulhu? Or am I just thinking of that collection of short stories with A Study In Crimson in it?
Yeah, it's Sherlock Holmes: The Awakening, I think?
The Awakened, yep
If you're expecting it to deliver on its premise, don't
Not a whole ton of standouts, at least to me. Tales of Maj'Eyal, Tower of Guns, The Real Texas, and Drifter all made it in.
Rollers of the Realm looks neat, if only for the novelty of a pinball-RPG.
I think it's worth mentioning that Mercenary Kings is the daily deal today.
It's a steam early access game and I can't recommend it enough. It's like Metal Slug with a Monster Hunter mission structure and a gun crafting system where you make individual pieces of a gun and put em all together.
I'm currently rocking a double barrel shotgun with a 5 round mag, a rifle stock, a scope, and a rifle barrel that shoots corrosive rounds.
Nimble Quest will be good on PC because I really would have preferred to just use arrow keys instead of swiping. For those who don't know, it's basically Snake, but your snake is made of various RPG classes.
What people want from a new C&C game is basically more of what C&C3 and RA3 were. More of that and yup we're good. That's all I want from that series.
no, they want what c&c was before EA took over when it had cheesy personality
Well, yeah, but the only version of that that they're even capable of producing at this point is C&C/RA3. Still had plenty of cheesy personality to my taste.

The original writers/creators are gone from that studio
So, uh
Consider me deeply pessimistic
Telltale's current writers haven't been bad with The Wolf Among us so far. I don't expect it to be as good as the original, but probably enjoyable and of good quality.

nope, that is The Testament of Sherlock Holmes
which is also on deep discount, but not included in the steam bundle.

I remember thinking it was neat when it was quick looked, like a year ago.
NimbleBit games are finally making it to PC
Truly a sign of the apocalypse.

The duders behind Tiny Tower.
I bet all of them are pre-release 'best at E3' types.

Also, Victory Games/Bioware Victory has been shut down.
Steam
Sooprise.
Although yeah it's hard to disagree with pretty much nobody wanting a free-to-play C&C.
Steam
Redeem this code in origin for a FREE Battlefield 3.

I do not like the sound of that

No 360 controller support, and no graphics options
However, the person who fixed the PC version of Dark Souls is on the case
However, The Wolf Among Us is fantastic and they weren't involved with that either.
