There are some data quality errors mixed in, as well as some timeouts, but a -1 with no error means the web server responded but the page was missing data. It's possible that there's an intermittent problem with their persistence layer. I'll check a few by hand and run 'em again if I get successes.

I see a few names that I recognize on the 360 that are -1s, and nobody that I recognize as being a PS3 player with a -1. :P

You could always make another crew and create an rebel flag emblem. They should stay even after you change your primary crew (unless you respray your car). Only problem is you need to have a crew leveled to 10 to open the option for applying emblems on vehicles, which is super lame.
I am actually surprised at the lack of swastikas and other racist shit that always happens in other games with custom emblems

The only vehicle that has an ok emblem placement that I've seen so far is the BF Injection, which sticks a decently-sized version on the driver's side door. Haven't seen a good hood logo placement yet. The Issi (mini) might also put it on the door, can't remember.

Yeah, car customization is really lacking in this game, which is shameful after Midnight Club Dub Edition.
coming from GTA 4 though it's a massive improvement. back then pay and sprays would still just give you a random color, and there were zero car mods.

well saints row has always had great vehicle customization and the first one hit in 06, but it didn't really get good until saints row 2. GTA 5 finally has decent shooting, driving, and garage systems in place for the first time. it could be better but I'd say it's leagues better than saints row 3.

My issue when I race Wang is that fairly often there is one winner and the rest of us just duke it out for 6th place. It gets tiresome. Its why I prefer when we do 4man co-op missions instead.

Just did a 16 player race. What a cluster fuck, everyone was either lagging or crashing and I got a DNF. Was still cracking up though as it was just ludicrous and I had to laugh.
so this is something I'm sure everyone is subconsciously aware of at least : but considering how most of the citizens in the game are depicted are either rude or overly self absorbed (I suspect to make you feel less bad about hijacking their car) , I was a bit surprised when I got hit by a car and a women's voice went "Are you alright?"
when all previous times that has happened like ...uncountable...always had the guy shouting a profanity at me or giving me the finger

Kind of along the same vein, I had a very strange event happen.
So I call my mechanic, my cheery, happy mechanic who gets paid $50 a day to bring me a vehicle day or night. He never complains, great work ethic.
I ask him for my motorbike. He responds, "Right away!" in that never failing happy voice, reassuring me my ride will be along shortly.
Sure enough, I see him coming up the road with my custom Bati. He pulls up close, and in his familiar, upliving voice says "Here ya go! She's purring!"
I nod my thanks to him, and go to mount my bike. However a slight nudge on the shoulder occurs with my mechanic.
"I am gonna own you, motherfucker!" in this low, now ferocious voice, dripping with malice.
"It can't be...Mechanic Mike? Was that you?" I wonder to myself, turning my head around. Sure enough, he's mad enough to eat nails and starts walking towards me, ready to pummel my face in.
He lands some hits, but for some reason I can't seem to focus (lock) on him so this fist fight against my longtime loving employee gone bad had to end soon. So I take out my pistol. He sees it and says in that low, low voice again "Oh fuck me!" and turns to run.
I draw on him. He stops.
He turns...and as I'm about to pull the trigger and end good ol' cheery Mechanic Mike's life, he says in yet another tone of voice I've never heard from him,
