This is for work.

Question: Is there a way to see what a Google search from 2007 would result in for a specific word?

Reason: We would like to type in a trademarked word into Google and see the results from way back.

Google Trends doesn't work, because we don't get the actual results only the percentages.
Limiting it by date, seems to only pull data that is dated
Wayback Machine only works if you have a specific site.

It looks like a lost cause, but I'm willing to listen to better Google'rs than myself.

I would wager a large sum of money on this not being possible -- outside of possibly if you were a Google engineer with access to data backups from that time period.

That's what I was thinking, but I just wanted to make sure I didn't miss something.

Are you looking for a specific word, or want all the words from 2007? That is, is there a place that would have all the trademarks approved in 2007?

Not really sure, just trying to think if there's a different way to get the results.

its not possible google doesn't provide revert option for the older version view

You can, however, limit your results to pages created before 2007 (search, then look under search tools for the date options)

EDIT: OH, you already tried that. That's what I get for being in a hurry.
