I really should have focused my breeding more. I've got loads of random cool 4-5 IV pokemon but I don't have even half of an actual team trained yet.
I have the same issue. Part of it is that most of my favorite pokemon or ones I'm curious about are fast, physical attackers. So far I've bred Torchics, Magikarps, Kangaskhans, Gligars, and Goomy. That's 3 pokemon fighting over a physical sweeper spot and not yet taking into account the fact that I really want a spot for a Scizor as well.
GG. Hax wasn't on my side, but I came victorious, thank God.
Next time, try not to break sleep clause, haha.
Seriously, if I hadn't predicted you to do something else, you would have ._.
There's a sleep clause for normal battles?
Of course there is. It would be very unfair otherwise.
Never played online before, sorry. Is there a list of normal rules somewhere? How would you even enforce a rule set in battles, just hope the other person knows know/obeys them?

It was a clear day in Detroit, MI. On top of a tall building downtown a lone hero stands facing the west. It is pirateluigi here to save his hometown from the impending kaiju attack.
The first kaiju to appear is the dreaded Volcarona/Mothra as it was expecting lots of tasty grass types. Unfortunately it was met with a fierce Gyarados to the face.
Not wanting any of that the Mothra tagged in for Hydreigon/Ghidorah while the Gyarados created a substitute. The substitute was rended with a blast of darkness but not before the Gyarados started dancing.
The Gyarados followed up with a Waterfall uppercut while Ghidorah threw Stone Edges at him. Gyarados, scared of the rocks, tagged in for a Breloom which took the rocks without a care. Ghidorah could see the Spore coming so he tagged Mothra back in to absorb it with its Lum berry. The Mothra was then able to one shot the Breloom with a Fiery Dance. Up next was a Politoed who, like Usher, made it rain. Mothra started Bug Buzzing and Politoed started to spit Scalding water. At this point the Politoed, like Usher, made a mistake. It tried to deal with a huge bug in a conventional way and use Toxic pesticides. This forced the Politoed to switch back into Gyarados who found out that Mothra was actually Psychic. Mothra eventually succumbed to the pesticides while facing a Mega Gardevoir who was Calming its Mind after seeing its comrades fall. Next up was Mecha Gojira who decided to power up to Mega Mecha Gojira. Mecha Gojira threw down a Thunderwave on the singing and dancing Ludicolo that swapped in. The next few turns consisted of trading water attacks for Iron Heads. Eventually a lucky paralysis stopped Ludicolo's dancing for good. Next was Heliosk to try and stop the kaiju menace. It used a Grass Knot, which did not trip up Mecha Gojira too much, and took a Dragon Tail which popped its balloon. Mega Gardevoir was back in and used a Will O Wisp to try and neuter Mecha Gojira. Mecha Gojira got a chance to use one more Iron Head before going down. Flying in to avenge Mecha Gojira was Rodan/Aerodactyl. Rodan then killed everything with Earthquakes. The city in ruin the Kaiju move on to the next challenger. End result: Detroit Destroyed.
The last line of defense against the Kaiju stands at the edge of the city of Ottawa. Nich glares at the horizon as he hears the ominous rumbling.
Suddenly Gojira/Tyranitar bursts onto the scene. Nich is ready with his own Tyranitar.
Gojira expecting Earthquakes tags in Rodan/Aerodactyl. However what the kaiju got was Stealth Rocks in the face.
Tyranitar then escaped the oncoming Earthquake by tagging in the Poison healing Gliscor who flew above the destruction.
Rodan Taunted the Gliscor to prevent Toxic followed by Ice Fang. The Gliscor U-Turned into a Starmie which was immediately crushed by a Stone Edge.
A Mega Gengar quickly rushed in and smashed Rodan with a Shadow Ball. Gojira was swapped back in for revenge.
A Focus Blast to the face failed to kill Gojira who used Pursuit. The Focus Blast from Mega Gengar was followed by Sludge Bomb which failed to kill Gojira. Gojira seeing his chance finished Mega Gengar with another Pursuit.
Gojira was then promptly ended by Gliscor's Earthquake.
Ghidorah/Hydreigon arrived on the scene. He missed his Stone Edge and took a Toxic from Gliscor. Gliscor then swapped into Aegislash who took another Stone Edge with ease.
Aegislash switched into Skarmory who was incinerated by Ghidorah's Fire Blast.
Back to Gliscor who U-Turned Ghidorah to mush. The following brawl was between Tyranitar and Mecha Gojira/Aggron. Tyranitar swapped into Gliscor who took an Iron Head from powered up Mega Mecha Gojira.
It was then a trade of Earthquakes and Iron Heads. Mecha Gojira soaked up the damage from Gliscor and the following Sacred Sword Aegislash and ground the two defenders down.
Back to Tyranitar who Crunched off Mecha Gojira's head.
Smog monster Hedorah/Muk then oozed its way onto the battlefield.
Hedorah was also consumed by Tyranitar, but not before Breaking its Bricks and poisoning Tyranitar.
In the end Tyranitar met its end from Hedorah's poison. Mothra was then free to got to town on Ottawa End result: Ottawa Destroyed

Alright! It took me long enough, but I've finally got a Timid Dry Skin Heliolisk with 31's in every stat but attack and fully EV trained special attack and speed stats. Next I'll EV train the Ferroseed I bred earlier (which took far less time to breed than the Heliolisk), and then I'll catch some Sligoos so I can end up with an optimized Goodra.
Drizzle Politoed makes it rain, reducing fire damage, increasing water damage, giving Heliolisk's Thunder 100% accuracy, and letting Goodra Rest and wake-up immediately. In Doubles or Triples Surf can be used to trigger Heliolisk, Poliwrath, and Toxicroak's abilities.
How's this look? Any suggestions? What items should I use?

To the residents of the Kiloude City: My demands are simple. Bring me a 6IV Tentacool and no more of the deadly creatures will be released into your waters. You have 24 hours.
This one is really frustrating, guys. It's taken me three days to get one 5IV tentacool (with not quite the right stat spread) and I'm starting to swear at my DS and get angry. I'm breeding a 5IV and 4IV one together right now and only getting 4 IV ones back. Full spread.
I keep telling myself to be patient, that it will regress to the mean eventually but I just want to smash the damn thing with every failed batch.
It's basically Sleep Clause plus OHKO moves plus bans every possible thing that could increase evasion somehow. Also Drizzle + Swift Swim, for some reason.
Up-and-coming hero Fondor Yards was visiting the city of Ft. Lauderdale when the kaiju attacked.
Fondor Yards deployed Scizor against the dreaded Ghidorah/Hydreigon but this was met with a powerful Fire Blast.
Next up was the hard punching Kangaskhan which went Mega. This Kangaskhan was like Noah's Ark, it had two of everything. Double Fake-Outs, double Sucker Punches, double Earthquakes, double Power-up Punches.
It was severely damaged by Ghidorah's Draco Meteor but still punched it to death. Next was Rodan/Aerodactyl. A quick switch allowed it to change to Dragonite and avoid a Earthquake.
Rodan gave Dragonite a brutal Ice Fang, but was also punched out with a Thunder Punch.
Mothra/Volcarona came in to take on Dragonite, but it switched into Reunculus who took Mothra's Buzzing to the face.
Reuniculus switched into Fondor Yards' own Volcarona. A fire fight ensued, but it was Mothra that was victorious.
Kangaskhan was back to get the Kaiju back for its friends. Mothra beat a hasty retreat and let Hedorah/Muk take over.
BIG MISTAKE! Hedorah ate double Earthquakes and just went down.
Gojira/Tyranitar fared little better. It managed to deal a small amount of Pursuit damage and finish off Kangaskhan with Sandstorm damage, but not before falling to the continuous Power-Up Punches.
Mecha Gojira Vs. Reunculus was ended with a single Iron Head.
Breloom came in Spore-Sub-Punching. The only thing Mecha Gojira could do was to allow Mothra to soak a Spore with its Lum Berry.
Mothra then managed to clean up the weakened Dragonite and susceptible Breloom.
Fondor Yards was forced to retreat back to their base in Sunrise. End result: Ft. Lauderdale Destroyed
Part 2 The revenge
Heroic Fondor Yards decided to make a stand at their home in Sunrise. This would be the decisive battle and they were more than ready.
The first kaiju to approach was Gojira/Tyranitar. He was met head on by Scizor. Scior broke all of Gojira's bricks and ended his advance. Scizor and Mega Kangaskhan, being more prepared, brought the fight to the kaiju.
There were so many fists.
The kaiju crumbled under the massive onslaught. Sunrise was saved and the kaiju menace defeated. End Result: Sunrise Saved
Hope you enjoy the story. Fondor Yards, if you want me to go into more detail on the second battle I can write more, but I think this summarizes your brutality.
It's basically Sleep Clause plus OHKO moves plus bans every possible thing that could increase evasion somehow. Also Drizzle + Swift Swim, for some reason.
The Drizzle + Swift Swim combo was banned because Drizzle made rain last forever, and unlike Chlorophyl and Sand Rush, Swift Swim would give a big advantage to its users because rain makes Water-type moves hit 50% harder.
