I haven't been able to sign into PSN yet, but if I play a game will it sync up my earned trophies when I finally do get to tie the system to my account?

On that note, anyone, when you download Warframe and Contrast, you get two downloads in your queue, one much smaller than the other. Is that it splitting up the necessary and complete portions of the game?
That's the download + day 1 patch downloading separately. It's weird that there's no way to differentiate the patch from the game. Also, Warframe has a separate download after you have downloaded the PSN file and the patch, which starts up when you boot the app.
So, what I have learned is that I am bad at Killzone and it makes me feel bad. I think I'll wait on that until I can log into PSN and stream so everyone can revel in my failures. Also, Lego Marvel installed in less time than it took me to write this.

I wish there was a freaking installation bar for downloaded games. . .so that I didn't back out of some of these installs (non-disc) thinking the system was freezing again.
So I couldn't get wassermelone (watermelon in german) on PSN... not because someone already had it or even the 'ass' in wasser but seemingly because of 'melon'. It rejected every name I tried with 'melon' in it.
I'm pretty happy with what I ended up with, wassermalen, both because it sounds like my long used name but also because malen means paint (I work as an artist)

I'm having trouble getting the headphone jack working reliably on the ds4. Audio keeps cutting out, I've tried 3 different headphones and ear buds. I have to slightly pull it out of the jack to get it to work. Very disappointing.
I’ll tell you what happens in Demon’s Souls when you die. You come back as a ghost with your health capped at half. And when you keep on dying, the alignment of the world turns black and the enemies get harder. That’s right, when you fail in this game, it gets harder. Why? Because fuck you is why.
Nervous to see how my PS4 faired while I have been here at work, and it has been in standby mode hopefully downloading my PSN games. Hopefully it finished a couple of them before PSN took a shit.

The early areas are not well-lit, but you can adjust the brightness and contrast. I had to fiddle with it a bit before it was acceptable. You get used to it, and later levels have different tilesets (hopefully not so dark).
Probably not for quite a while if ever. Blurays won't fit 4k movies (I think 2k is the max), and the processing power of either console is nowhere near enough for 4k. It'll probably be 1080p upscaled to 4k if that.

I went to Target to get some games. The Target I would normally go to was wiped out, except for Just Dance, so I skipped that one. They are right across the PA/DE border, so tax free shopping brings in more traffic. The other Target had a better selection, but not all three I wanted. I got FIFA and some fillers that I will return.
But they had Knack with a listed price of $39.99, and there were a lot of customers behind me looking to get it at that price. Only one guy was working the section. I did not stick around to see the mayhem.

It literally took me like four minutes to find my way out of the very first room you're put in (once it becomes an FPS). I went up and down that room again and again, trying to find something to climb on to get out of there, staring through the floor grate and eventually - whups! - accidentally fell through the hole in the floor.

I know that fun. 15 minutes before company arrived for an impromptu visit that I was given 30 minutes warning to clean the apartment for cat decides to vomit right in-between two couch cushions. No not the ones you sit on the ones you put your back on. She was just sitting on the back of the couch right after eating her wet food and just BLARRRRGF, went all the way down the crack, in-between the ass cushions and pooled on the fabric underneath. It was like, YAY I totally have time to clean that up too!
He's a many times multi-millionaire football (american) player, who took time out of his life to just randomly show up at a store and pay for some people's PS4s. Its a nice bit of outreach to the community that he didn't have to do. Sports stars are celebrities, and the people who got those PS4s will never forget it. Its not saving orphans or anything, but hey, good for him.
I bought Flower on the web store, queued it to my PS4, it downloaded, but it's locked. It says it can only be started by the user who has a license for it.

Oh, on that note, does the PS4 use the same size HDD form factor as the PS3?
Not to be a pedant, but that is exactly what bricked means. The expression comes from "my car is bricked", or clamped. Your tyres are taken away and the car is rested on bricks. You put new tyres on and the car is unbricked. Not broken, just non-functional until you replace the required part.
Bricked to me is anything that doesn't work at all. IF the HDD is bad it's bricked, if the HDMI port doesn't work it's bricked. Just because it isn't technically 100% disabled doesn't mean it isn't 100% worthless as long as it doesn't work.
Anyone who's done a stream to Twitch, is your recording in your archives? I never got one, I'm not sure if it's a PS4 thing or a Twitch being Twitch thing.
