Batman Arkham Origins Blackgate glitch help needed

I'm in the administration building. The Joker just released gas and I had to go into an elevator shaft. The door I came in is locked by beta encryption and I don't have the key yet. All I have is the batclaw and baterang. I use the batclaw to move up twice in the shaft and encounter a door with breakable stuff over it but get no prompts.

What do I do? I got an auto save here so I am stuck.
