If you need more Zelda after A Link Between Worlds, Ocarina of Time 3D is the best version of that game
Senran Kagura is good if a bit embarrassing

The ridge around the bottom screen can scratch the top screen. So place a piece of microfiber cloth between them, or put adhesive rubber feet on the lid to separate the screens more. Or do both.

Speaking of which, is there a case that is recommended? And/or screen protectors?

@Maz- that promotion is Europe only? :(

    Seems like it, yeah.

I would also like to know about cases for my shiny new XL.

Edit: Well, more of a pouch, really. I prefer fabric over plastic.

I was gonna say just pick up the Club Nintendo pouch, but they currently seem to be sold out.

I don't think they've ever had 3DS pouches at the EU Club Nintendo.

Question. If I decide to go nuts and get the Zelda XL on Friday, and at some point I will get a new SD card for it, would it be important to do it now? I will need to xfer all the things from my current 3ds, which is not near full. So would it be easier to 1. Upgrade sd card in new 3ds, 2. Xfer from old 3ds to new one. OR is it just as simple to 1. Xfer from old to new, 2. Some point in the future, upgrade SD card?

I'm starting to wonder if I already asked this and if I did I'm sorry. It has been a bad month for me.

    Let's see...uh...

I think you're better off going with option #2. Upgrading your SD card is a simple matter of dragging and dropping its contents to your computer and then doing the process in reverse to a new card.

So, what things would I, as a new 3DS owner (and someone who hasn't owned anything Nintendo since the GB Color) need to know? Thanks!

Invest in a Class 10 32GB SDHC card as soon as you can. Transferring data between SD cards is as easy as copy/pasting from the card to your desktop and back into the new card.

As far as I know, there's no way to purchase a game from the eShop without downloading it. You don't want to be caught lacking space in case of a great sale.

What does the "Class 10" part of that mean? Just curious, really, after coming from the Vita world, being able to use a normal SD card feels like heaven to my wallet :P

The "Class" number indicates read/write speeds. The higher the Class the faster, although I think the difference isn't that noticeable between a Class 4 and Class 10. Others with more informed opinions may have better answers.

    Cool, thanks.

So, get a Class 10 SD card.

Not sure on a case yet.

Get some sort of protector thingie so that the bottom ridge doesn't scratch the top screen?

Anything else interesting I should know?

Since I'm thinking about downloading Mario Party 3DS I guess I should invest in a 32GB SD as well... Which of these cards will do the trick?

I've been meaning to check out the Anime. I picked up Pirate Warriors 2 on PSN a while back, and it was bizarre and awesome. The screens don't really show what kind of game Romance Dawn is, though. is it an RPG?

Hrm all this talk of scratching on 3DS XLs has me alittle worried. I've had mine for quite awhile now, no scratches, but I don't tend to carry it in my pocket either. That aside, any screen protector recommendations? No bubbles and glue that doesn't leave behind a horrible residue would be great.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that any problems the 3DS had with scratching/marks were fixed with the XL. I haven't noticed anything, and I don't have a screen protector.

Mostly fixed. If you often keep your XL in places where pressure is placed on it, the top screen will get scratched. I know because I have seen it.

I would expect that having a screen protector over the top screen would mitigate the problem completely, wouldn't it?

Presumably it would scratch the protector, which might bother you. Might not.

I'm super careful about my stuff, so I use a microfiber cloth sandwiched in the middle, screen protectors, and rubber feet to lift the lid just a little bit.

Well, so far I have no scratches, but I have a few spare phone screen protectors and kids who want their pokemons. So it seems like it may be prudent.

It was an awesome purchase and those of you who made it are going to love it. No regrets!! If I didn't have a nice shiny blue 3DS XL already, I would be ordering one too.

Question: Anyone get the new Adventure Time! game? It looks pretty cool and the Bemo themed steelbook CE version is calling my name. I would love to hear if it's totally math or not.

I'm trying to decide if I want to get the new Adventure Time game on 3DS or Wii U. I'm leaning toward Wii U since I can more easily benefit from local co-op that way. Still, probably won't get my hands on it until after Mario 3D World and Zelda, so that'll probably be somewhere around the new year if even then...being poor is butts.

I went with this one here myself. Has room for 8 games plus your charger & headphones in the pouch up top. Wish it had been available in black but the reviews swayed me. Also grabbed Super Mario 3D Land to go along with it. Very excited to get my hands on this thing.
