I haven't received cookies, but apparently it's the fault of the postal service and not my sender.
I mailed cookies in December, and USPS says they were delivered, but I haven't heard anything one way or the other from my giftee.

I received cookies and then they were all consumed!
But I mean. If anyone wants to send me more, I am contemplating buying candy from the store because my sweet tooth demands it. STORE candy. NOT cookies. So sad.

I too, received and consumed tasty cookies and fudge.
This reminds me, I got some peppermint m&ms in white and dark chocolate varieties, I should bake them into chocolate cookies. I'll share if anyone shows up.
My cookie exchange was pretty timely. The delivery from me (to Cimmerii) and the delivery to me (from Ceres) showed up in time to be photographed in back to back posts on Page 5.

Still no cookies here.
And it seems like all is dying, and would leave the world to mourn
My package for @skettios will finally ship tomorrow, and should make it by Saturday. Everything in there should stay good for at least 10 days though, so if USPS does take until Monday it should be alright. I made some extra items to try to mitigate my inexcusable lateness.
I posted about getting Noisymunk's cookies! And Slacker71 posted about getting mine. Please don't threaten me with the lamest, most overrated stringed instrument!
When tracked it's listed as "Item arrived at postal facility. Item on hold."
Maybe that means delivery was attempted but nobody was there to receive it, but there was no note on the door like there usually is.
I would make some phone calls if I were you. You paid for overnight and it's been a week now. Get your money back.
Cookies were delicious despite a 1 week journey courtesy of the USPS. The Hershey kisses were a bit oxidized, hut everything still tasted great. Thanks!
As promised:
Chocolate chip cookies and banana bread. Everything is delicious! I shared one of the bags of cookies with some friends over board games, and everybody loved them
@skettios Has there been any sign of your package? There hasn't been a tracking update since it got to the local sorting facility :-(
If there's no sign of it by tomorrow I'll send a new package on Friday. We're doing sugar candies at school this week, so there'd be a pretty good variety of things that stay good for ages I could throw in. Hopefully USPS tracking is just as shitty and meaningless as I remember it being though.
According to USPS tracking, they were delivered December 27th, and I've been dying of suspense over here

I forgot to mention in this thread, my package of goodies from Psykoma showed up! A week late! After she paid for guaranteed overnight shipping! Thanks Canada Post!
Inside was some adorable goodies. 3 small flowerpots filled with brownie (a bit dried out after a week in a box, but still tasty!), and some legitimately delicious sugar cookies, cut and painted like Piranha Plants! When fully assembled, they looked something like this:
There was also an intriguing dessert made with chocolate and peanut butter and rice crispy treats rolled up into a kind of incredible sugar sushi. I am super bummed that this did not hold up to a week in the box. The rice crispy was totally dried up and stale
The guy at the post office told me that Montreal was all frozen up that week and none of their planes could get out, but still! "Guaranteed Overnight" means something very specific.
@Ketar nothing so far. Will let you know if I get anything today. No worries about rushing it or anything, looks like postal service hasn't been great for any baked goods this year :P
@skettios If nothing turns up today, I'll go ahead and send a new package tomorrow morning with a quick batch of cookies and an assortment of candies we made at school this week. Next week is going to be really busy for me, so it would be a while before I could manage it again.
I know it's nice to time this with the holidays, but maybe a summer cookie exchange would work out a little better? Snow and extreme cold seem to have taken a particularly bad toll on the postal service this year.

Heart would ruin them in some parts of the country.

Ok, new package will go out Monday since the post office closes in like 7 minutes. I'll get it ready today and tomorrow and run it over to the post office across from school on Monday.
If the other package does show up eventually, the crackers should still be good for a while. Ditto the marshmallows. Cookies will be reaching the end of recommended keeping time by Monday or later. Still no tracking updates, which is ridiculous.
Hooray for a speedy arrival the second time around. The hazelnut cookies were a little disappointing, but I didn't have time to work on another batch, sorry
The nougat, caramels, chocolate caramels, pate de fruits and hard candies should all be better though. The green discs are spearmint flavored, and the clearer hard candies are lime. I think I threw a couple lollipops in there too - those are passion fruit. The flavors on the hard candies were subtle at times, but usually come through ok if you go ahead and bite into them. Hope you enjoy.

I just wanted to say that I got my cookies from Plut!
Thank you!
The pumpkin bread is ever certified anise-free.

Thank you for your participation in the FY14 Penny Arcade Cookie XXXchange, USA branch. It seems by my anecodotally supported count that almost everyone has sent and received treats. However, poor . did not receive treats and this is a grave injustice. She has at some point departed the boards and will not see this message, so the offendee isn't being as publicly shamed as he or she could be, but for the love of all that is good and unwholesome fulfill your responsibility and send a large box of your finest baked treats, if you please.

@Peen
The name of the person who didn't receive treats doesn't show up in your message for some reason. It wasn't my giftee, was it?

May need to bake more if it's been stored at room temperatures this whole time

and afaik, my recipient hasn't gotten theirs yet either
Need to find that tracking receipt.

Opening and sampling are going to have to wait a few hours until my kiddo has had dinner and is ready for bed though.
finally!
hope everything was intact and edible, @Calica

But if your fudge comes in all one piece even I've cut it up... Them's the breaks.
