besides, while having an artist for each character is awesome, I doubt their sole involvement in the game would be just to draw this one character
I mean, they have a single person doing all the backgrounds! having an artist-per-character would be insane for a 2d dating sim
and the character pages all say "from *artist*", which is a lot more open to interpretation than just "drawn/designed by", and considering that notorious batman villain and cluemaster hussie is the creative director behind this...

They'll probably limit themselves to just one homestuck character
I mean, a big portion of this thing is going to be how all these varied characters are going to interact
Having a few who already know each other kind of detracts from that
If it's an AU I'd guess they'll have their current personalities but they won't know each other because they didn't experience the events of Homestuck.

i.. dont really think artist per character sounds that crazy, i mean, first of all it's a p. ridiculous collaborative work already, and each artist just needing to draw a single character in a bunch of poses and different expressions, and maybe some special event graphics seems like it'd lighten the load for some already busy artists, (lexxeh with her webcomic, etc)
Also I think it's pretty safe to say I just did the one character? It's a pretty fair amount of work, and as Vicky said, we've all got a lot on our plates already with our own stuff.
