Not sure if there's a better place for this and with no Wii U I can't verify that it works, but Nintendo is running a promo now where if you buy (or already own) one of the following games you can pick up the others for 60% off.
The only ones of those I don't own is Giana and Bumpie. I'll likely pick up Giana before the sale's over but Bumpie seems to be multiplayer focused...which is something that doesn't happen particularly often in my household.
If I buy an older game does it still come with the code to redeem for coins? I have an Amazon gift card coming sometime this next month and I'm tempted to pick up some games I missed like Luigi's Mansion, but if they don't come with club coins, I'll just wait for Yoshi.

If you buy the game "new," then heck yes it will. If you buy it used, there's a high chance the code will be used already. But you might get lucky.
If it's brand new sealed then the PIN codes for coins should still work. I bought Mario Galaxy 2 when dropped to $30 and was able to register it for coins.

To be fair, I've had nothing but bad experiences with that particular Gamestop (to the point it turned me off from doing business with the entire company if I can avoid it). At least you're removing the codes that you're using, not that I agree with the practice.
