Thankfully the original 3DS hardware is included in the promotion as well, contrary to what the leaked Toys R Us signage dictates, as it only included the 2DS and 3DSXL. I have my girlfriend's 3DS code & serial lying about, plus my copy of Animal Crossing that I never registered, so I guess free Pokeymans for me.

Be sure you don't do the deal before March 1st. It says it starts then. Would hate to get screwed out of it because you get excited and do it too early.

What has changed is that I did a system transfer on Christmas to a new XL. Is it possible that (despite me signing in, creating an NNID, etc) that it didn't transfer my Club Nintendo stuff? How can I check to make sure they're linked?
I never registered my 3DS XL that I purchased in July, only because I hit Platinum without needing it after digging old unregistered DS and Wii games out of my closet. I was saving those coins for when they were needed, you see. And then, the very same morning that Nintendo announced this Pokemon X/Y deal, Amazon delivered my new copy of DKCR 3D, which happens to be one of the promotion games. I hope there's no secret "sell-by" date embedded in these registration codes that I'm gonna try to use on Saturday. Getting free Pokemon would be the best.

Sure! It's a very good game. I mean it is basically a turn based Japanese RPG, so if you like those then you should be able to enjoy it.

Same thing happened to me. On the bright side, it was just ten coins (something like 40, I'd be more dismayed over); I've got Platinum already, a ton of surveys left, nothing on my immediate want list, and I went ahead and cleared my surveys through April.
