The real shame is that I paid for SMG2 on the release week to get the lower price, when I could have just waited to claim it as my Elite reward. /sadtrombone
Didn't you get it for half the price it goes for now, though? So there's a bit of compromise there, at least; People can pay twice as much as you did now, or go for the freebie.
As for me... man, there are a number I already own, but would love to have digitally so I can play whenever/wherever without having to bring the Game Card with me, like Animal Crossing: New Leaf or Mario Golf. I've actually wanted Animal Crossing digitally for some time now, because it's just one of those games you want to do your stuff in each day, but not so long that it should take up the card slot.
But I don't have Ultimate NES Remix at all, and that would be a good one for that as well... well, save for having the two games on Wii U, that is.
Hmm...
Like Mega Man Legends? Then check out my story, Legends of the Halcyon Era - An Adventure in the World of Mega Man Legends on TMMN and AO3!
I think I might go with Mario Golf. It's probably between that and Animal Crossing and I don't see myself spending the time daily to actually do well in animal crossing.
There's a bunch of DLC for golf?
I'm glad to see tropical freeze on there, but seems like WiiU owners don't get much to choose from. I would have expected at least one more major release as an option. Mk8 even would have been a good one, even if most people would already have it.

I'm surprised Pikmin 3 or Wonderful 101 weren't included. Either of those seem like no brainers.
Ok. I have a Wii U Deluxe. That will be fine for holding Tropical Freeze, right? Doesn't it have like 32GB?
Tropical Freeze is 11 GB.
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF. I don't think I have enough space on my Wii U for that. Can I redownload a game if I delete it off the console? I'm never gonna finish One Piece Unlimited World Red, might as well get rid of it.

I'd be all over DKCTF if I didn't buy it when it was discounted for people who bought a DKC game.

Yes you can redownload games.

Definitely. Plus, the save file and game are separate, so you can delete the game and retain the save file for future re-downloading use.
I'm leaning heavily towards Mario Golf for Platinum right now. Tropical Freeze would have been my pick if I didn't already have it, but of the remaining offers I think Mario Golf probably has the best ratio of "willingness to enjoy it" to "unwillingness to pay a meaningful amount of money for something like it in any other context". Granted, that's the same logic that lead me to take Game and Wario last year, and I still haven't gotten around to checking it out for some reason, but whatever. It seems like the kind of thing I'd regret not doing.
I might get AC:NL even though I already own a physical copy. I want to start a new town and I'd like the convenience of always having the game loaded on my 3DS.
Animal Crossing and Mario Golf are great examples of games that are better digitally. I'm much more likely to weed my town or play a quick round of golf when it's right there on my system.

Kind of underwhelmed by the elite rewards. I guess I'm getting mario golf. Why oh why couldn't Advance Wars been for the 3DS as well? That and Metroid Fusion Would have made it 100x better. I don't have a Wiiu just a Wii.

I still play Tomodachi Life but only because it's digital and takes no time to jump in and check the daily shops.
Do eShop games count towards your coins? I have like 760 coins right now so I'm very close to Platinum status. If I picked up a copy of Wind Waker HD I could then endup getting DKCTF for free, which would be awesome!

The time period for registering codes is over unfortunately.

Not anymore, there's no way to earn coins. The deadline was yesterday.
Yeah, I got a message saying something shipped, and that's the only physical reward I picked. Guess they're moving them all out now that it's closing down.

Advance Wars and Fusion being WiiU only feels like a slap in the face to 3DS owners. The same people who probably had those titles on their Advance back in the day, and now have no way to play them.
I'm interested in Mario Party if only because this is literally the only way I'll ever play it. Anybody have experience with it?
I'm in the same situation regarding ACNL and Mario Golf. Havent decided which one yet, I used to play the f out of Mario Golf as a kid and I've never really played Animal Crossing before.
Bleh this is what I get for being too busy to check up on the cut off date! Argh I'll grab...I guess...Super Star Saga. I own or don't care about the rest of them.

The Oracle games are beloved by many FYI. I've never played them.

Some places like Kotaku have said that the oracle games are the best Zelda handheld games. Personally my local gamestop has used copies of both of them for 4 bucks a peice or I would choose one of them as my reward.
Hrm actually Pushmo looks really cute. I initially didn't think it'd be something I'd like but that looks quite charming. Which is better, Crashmo or Pushmo?

And I would say Oracle of Ages or Seasons are the best ones. They are similiar but one focuses on puzzles and the other on combat.

You only get portions of games in NES remix games. I think theres 16 stages based off of SMB 3 in Remix 2
