Also: annoying that special attacks don't start autoattack if you don't have enough energy for the special attack. Easy to fix with a macro, but still...
Make one for each skill you want to start autoattack with.
I dunno. I think if I went to sap/garotte/cheap shot/ambush a mob and for whatever reason didn't have the energy for it, the last thing I would want to do is start auto-attacking.
I would, of course, assume some basic sane logic for it.
Never got this answered... can I get the Hellfire PVP daily quest objectives in stealth?
If so I'll just park at a fort in stealth and read ze forums until someone caps it for me. God damn does it suck trying to actively cap it with all random 70s roaming about.
I'm sitting at 180 hit rating and I'm not sure if I should start focusing more on crit at this point.
Well, in sockets and whatnot it's best to just go +hit until you hit 308. But as for gear choices, my suggestion would be to just go with the best over all item after 210-220. There's really no magic number, though.
Hit is great, and is pound for pound the best route until it's capped. But for me, the other gear choices made for a much better option.

you cannot take points in EotS, hellfire peninsula, halaa, zangarmarsh, terokkar, or the epl while stealthed

220 still seems really high, should I start sacraficing crit to get to that?
I want to respec daggers on my rogue, but I'm in Australia, so I don't really know if it's a good idea. I hear a lot of talk about needing a 'really good ping' to PvP with daggers - what exactly are we talking about? I'm usually high 200's to mid 300's, sometimes going as high as 400- is this going to be nasty to PvP with, or will I be able to deal with it?
Your main concern is that when you hit ambush you still need to be in range of your target. You can test this now by just throwing a dagger main hand and trying to ambush some people.
I am getting the sexy new off-hand Arena sword on Tuesday. I've been saving up points, and I also have all the mats ready to get it Mongoose'd.
EVERYONE should be doing arenas at 70, even if it's only 2v2, even if it's only once a week, even if you suck donkey balls when it comes to PVP. Seriously, free epics. I hardly had to work at all for this sword I'm getting, I just had to wait a while.
Of course it would be less of a wait if you're actually GOOD at PVP.

It's true. The off-hand arena weapons for rogues are just plain awesome.
Sooo, I got the Dagger of Prince, some T4 and lots of new pimp gear (Deathblow goggles with the mele atk speed increase, mongoose on the MH etc...)
and decided to try combat daggers for the first time since level 60, and you know what, its not that bad. I dont PVP right now but in PVE its nice, 2 Backstabs kills most things and its nice to top the damage charts on Gruul / Kara. But give me Spiteblade or the Arena stuff and its back to Combat SS stuff ;-)
Shiv + Potency helps make it something much better than it was at 60

I wouldn't suggest it with your ping to be honest. It will seem like you are right behind your target but will inevitabely get the "out of range" or "You must be behind your target" message. I never have a ping over 100, but still get that bullshit sometimes.

Meh, i'm saving up for the MH Arena Sword. I need me some Hemo love and a 71 dps 2.6 isn't cutting it.

Probably Combat Daggers at present and is talking about being able to PvP without feeling immense pain with a raid spec.

So, suggestions, or suggestion I guess, I have enough points to get the offhand arena dagger tomorrow, should I go for that or save up for the main hand?
Also, is there a website that will allow me to see how equipment would affect my current stats? Not comparing item to item per se, but I'd just like to see how equipping a new piece of gear would affect me.

so, i have enough to buy a mainhand season 2 weapon. problem is i really don't want to be mutilate anymore in arenas. i'm sick to death of being kited around and just not being able to get positioning against any player with have a brain.
so, i was thinking of two specs. a crazy hemo/combat hybrid where i get the weapon spec, ar and bf, with the obvious talents in subt on the way to hemo. or straight combat/ass like i've played before.
one problem is that the spec i think i'd like the most, maces, has the least benifit to raiding. if i get the fist, i gain 5 crit, if i go sword i get sword procs. i really have no idea wtf i'm going to do. asdfasdfsdfasdfasdfddddddd
oh yeah, and i would obviously respec out of hemo for raids (well ssc atleast, noc about kara and gruul)
i will no matter what i end up buying, i'm just not sure what to buy.
Well the MH Sword is pretty much the sexiest weapon I've laid eyes on. I know that's what I'm going for. The claw is sexy too, but I think the sword will be more consistent. Maces, well, you know how I feel about them.

hmm wowhead has the sword topend as being 305 with the mace being 330 like the fist. is this an error? i can't actually check my vendor as theres about 50 mages spamming ae in the glad room.

I'm pretty sure it is correct. The top end is higher, but the low end is also a lot lower. That's why the sword imo will be more consistent.
As for sword spec. It still kicks ass, even without counting as a yellow. It no longer resets your swing timer which really hurt depending on when it procced so it is still very useful for raiding.

Ooh, this looks interesting. That looks like it leaves room for most of either Combat potency or deadliness, or maybe something from assassination- malice, I guess.
Combat potency could make for some really fast combo point generation with hemo. Worth looking into, you think?

I dunno if I would give up 5% crit (and prep) for it.

Im a slave to 11 Points in Assas, needs my combo points and energy gains on finishers.
AR Hemo might be cool, but tbh I feel 19/42 Combat Fists is the best Arena build (from seeing my mates rogue play anyway, im not there on points yet)

Blood Elves get the best stealth animations.
And I'd take Vile Poisons just for the 20% bonus to Envenom...

Yea, think how tricky it is with a constant 300-500 ping.

I know. But can I get the quest objectives? That's what I asked.
I thought the quest objectives involved taking the points
If you're grouped with whoever takes the points I guess you'd get credit, otherwise no
Haha, well if an Emerald Ripper drops, I have no qualms about going right back to Mutilate. :P
