    Some have asked what the front of the badge looks like. It's something like this:
    PAX-East-2014-Forum-Badge-Front-v03_zpsd284e900.jpg

    Others have asked why their name is not on the badge at the moment. This is despite the fact that I have explained on several occasions that the names currently shown are place-holder ones from last year. Just to ram this point home, this is what the back of the forum badge actually looks like as I post this message:
    PAX-East-2014-Forum-Badge-back-v07_zps77c3d87a.jpg

    Now that we've cleared that up, I can now warn you that the dreaded questions will be posted very soon. These are the questions asked by the BYOC staff before they pass a badge to you. These questions are very easy provided you frequent the forums. They exist to ensure only forum members get the badges.

    Oh man. A test too?! I'm ready. You post the questions here, I'd assume? Are the answers posted as well, or is that something we figure out or already know? First time doing this, so yeah.

    You can see last year's updated OP to get an idea for how the questions work at the BYOC desk. They are pretty straightforward - just something to make sure that you visit this forum.

    If Kropotkin follows the same pattern as last year, you may not even need the answers if you are at certain community events, like the PPD.

    If I remember correctly I wasn't even asked the questions when I picked mine up from BYOC due to my name being on the back

    Ladies and Gentlemen I present to you the questions that are to be asked at the BYOC desk should you choose to collect a PAX Forum badge from there:
    1) Name ONE unofficial PAX East community event:

    * Pre-PAX Dinner

    * Pre-PAX Magical Mystery Tour
    * Pre-PAX/Post PAX Board Game meetup
    * Pokecrawl Drinking Tournament

    2) Who made the Forum Badges?

    Kropotkin [Pr: KRO-POT-KIN]

    3) Do Gabe and Tycho read the PAX forums?

    No

    4) Name/Handle of a PAX Forum Moderator?

    Moe Fwacky or zerzhul

    5) What is the theme for the PAX East 2014 forum badge?

    Revolutionary War or British Army

    6) What texture does the PAX East 2014 Forum badge front have?

    8) There is a group of PAX attendees that gives out crunchy and sweet foodstuffs and takes voluntary donations for the Childsplay charity during PAX. What is this group called?

    The Cookie Brigade

    9) According to the forums, it is a general rule that PAX is most definately not, under any circumstances a BLANK service. What is the 'blank'?

    Dating

    10) What is in the top right hand corner of the PAX Forum crest?

    The OP has been updated with these questions. Remember those who collect their badges from the Pre-PAX Dinner and board game nights do not have to answer any questions.

    What level of participation do you have to have to obtain one of these? I've not been active in the forums up to this point, though I've been to Pax East starting 3 years ago. I hope to be somewhat more active going forward :)

    Nvm, I apparently can read :)

    So I posted on his before about the tests and such. And definitely wanted on the badge since I'm all geeked out for PAX and all... But is there a time where you're capping the people put on it? For space or date reasons?

    The last date for getting your name on the back of the badge is FRIDAY 28TH MARCH 2014. So if you do not post your name here after that date you don't get your name on the back of the badge.

    Depends on the enforcer asking you the questions. Usually just one or two.
